Cabin was wonderful. The beds were comfortable. The main floor bathroom could have been a little cleaner, but everything else was clean. We enjoyed ourselves. The lake needed some "weeding", but the gentleman that was "maintaining" the area was so nice to talk to and really cared about the area. It was quiet and very relaxing. Ruby Falls and Rock City and a visit to the Aquarium in Chattanooga were on our agenda and it was wonderful to visit the area.Recommended for: Age 55+, romantic getaway, families with young children, girls getaway.

This was a very good expierence and would recommend this cabin to anyone looking for a quite place to stay. The owner provided everything needed. It was nice to go for a long weekend and not have to buy trash bags, dishwashing soap, dishwasher soap and washing machine detergent; she provides everything for you. The cabin is well stocked with bathroom and kitchen needs, as well. If you like to fish there are SEVERAL places to fish. Of course there is plenty for hikers too.Recommended for: Sightseeing, adventure seekers, age 55+, families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway.

What a great place for relaxing and taking in natures beauty. Moose Tracks cabin was even more than we expected. I don't think there was any detaill that was not taken care of to make our stay so very special. The cabin was immaculate, our guys enjoyed the fishing. Trenton was close by for groceries and the barbecue restaurant was great for a quick dinner on our arrival. We have already recommended this to friends in Texas who travel to Georgia and Alabama. Moose Tracks Cabin is definitely on our check list for a return visit!Recommended for: Sightseeing, age 55+, families with teenagers, romantic getaway, girls getaway.

My wife and I left early Friday morning from Florida(about a 9hr drive) and made a bee-line to the cabin. We had family coming down from Indiana and our desination was about a halfway point for both families. The directions that the owner provided were most helpfull and the drive towards the cabin was very scenic. The cabin was everything we expected and more. With all of the modern conveniences that the owner provided, you only needed to pack a toothbrush and some comfortable clothes(don't forget to bring some good hiking shoes). It was very clean and well taken care of. We sat out on the front porch every evening playing our guitars watching the moons reflection dance on the lake that was only a stones throw away. We also enjoyed fishing the surrounding lakes in the area. Best time for us to catch anything was either early in the morning or just before dusk and yes, the catfish were biting!!! As out time came to an end at the cabin we were sad to leave such a beautiful place, however the memories we have of spending quality time with our families is priceless!!! Oh, and one more thing to add...we enjoyed the 2 adorable cats who live near the cottage Crank and Sunny.Recommended for: Sightseeing, adventure seekers, age 55+, families with teenagers, romantic getaway, families with young children, girls getaway.

My family of 6 (2 parents, 3 kids and 1 grandparent) stayed here over the 4th of July holiday, 2012, and we had a fantastic time! It is a beautiful, quaint cabin with an amazing view overlooking the lake. The cabin was clean, roomy, and beautifully decorated. The owner provided soooo many things at the cabin it was shocking! Every cooking utensil you could think of was in the drawers, cleaning supplies, laundry detergent, shampoo, body wash, COFFEE, a book on attractions in the area, restaurants, emergency numbers, etc. One of the things we liked the best was the quiet. There are a few other cabins in the area, but only one other cabin was occupied and we were pretty suprised at the remote location once we entered the resort, which was an added bonus!! My husband's Nextel had service the whole time we were there and so did I with Verizon. My kids all had T-mobile and they did not have any service there at all. We will definitely go back!! It was by far the nicest cabin we've ever stayed at and the area was bursting with places to go and things to do!!Recommended for: Sightseeing, adventure seekers, age 55+, families with teenagers, romantic getaway, families with young children.
