For beach goers looking for kinder, gentler waves, refuge can be found along the calmer waters of the Chesapeake Bay in this lovely 3 bed 2.5 bath completely remodeled condo with its own direct access to the beach right off the back deck. From swimming to sand castles to volleyball to just relaxing in the sun listening to the sound of the surf - all the traditional beach rituals are here. You'll even catch local fireworks from time to time. And nothing’s better than an evening stroll or dining at a fine restaurant as the sun sets over the Chesapeake Bay Bridge Tunnel (4 restaurants and bars within 2 blocks), or grilling your own steaks or fresh fish and eating on the deck overlooking the best view in the area.. This north facing beach house offers sunrises and sunsets from all three decks..

My family of 5 stayed at Chicks Beach Retreat this summer and had a fabulous experience! Loved the home it was clean and furnished nicely. The view was unbelievable especially sunsets. The area locally call chicks beach was quaint but lively. We could walk to 3 restraunts and loved Zia Maria a Italian restaurant 1 block away The property manager was great to work with . We would to return to this rental. Baker familyRecommended for: Romantic getaway, families with teenagers, girls getaway, adventure seekers, tourists without a car, sightseeing, families with young children, age 55+.

Love This condo in Chicks Beach which was actually more like a town house with plenty of privacy . Parking was tight buy worth it . To say the views of the bay, sunrise and sunset are spectacular is to put it mildly. It more than lived up to every expectation we could have had. The condo was clean, air conditioned and nicely decorated . . Kathy the property manger was great to work with . They helped me find the perfect property for my family and this one was it . We would recommend it for a family vacation and would definitely come again!Recommended for: Girls getaway, adventure seekers, sightseeing, families with young children, age 55+.

Why Virginia Beach:
I love this property because it is directly on the beach - no walking blocks with heavy beach chairs, coolers and umbrellas - the beach is just out the back door. More importantly was the unobstructed million dollar views this home offers from just about ever room and the sound of the waves gently crashing while the seagulls fly by.

Semi - private beach occupied primarily by locals. No hotels within miles, so you can enjoy a resort style vacation without the hustle and bustle of the crowded touristy Virginia Beach Oceanfront Resort area. However, Chicks Beach is centrally located so the boardwalk, shopping, restaurants, and all of the attractions are just minutes away. There are actually 2 fine dining restaurants and 2 casual restaurants/bars all within 2 blocks of this home, so you can not start your car all week and still have an amazing experience.
