The property is surrounded by cypress and oak woods, olive and vineyards, dominating a little lonely valley. It is located in one of the most wooded and well preserved part of Chianti Classico area, between S.Donato in Poggio and Castellina in Chianti. It is easy to see roe-deers, even during the day, istrici (a particular kind of porcupine introduced by the Romans, emblem of one 'contrada' of Siena's palio ) and wild boars during the night.
We rent two of our houses, a small villa and a bigger country house, totally independent and separated (on two different levels of the hill) from each other. Both of the houses, surrounded by the green, are fully restored and equipped. One (unit 1019994) can give accommodation to 2/4 people and the other (unit 1228613) up to 8 people. The photos show both the units ; please pay attention to the descriptions.

Ground floor : a living and dining room (extensible table up to 10 people, sofa, other seats, chimney) leads to the kitchen and to one of the bathrooms. First floor : 2 master bedrooms, another bedroom with 2 bunk beds and 2 bathrooms. A stone path, which goes through the wood (150mt), leads to the pool : 83 square metres wide, shared with us and the guests of unit 1019994, open from May to September.

Our villa was exactly what we wanted. Private, serene, and quiet. Villa has everything you need to relax including a large fire place to enjoy the evenings. Owner is very friendly and kind. We were visited by cats and dogs every morning, which we really enjoyed. There are plenty of sites and towns to visit all withini short drive, including Florence. We look forward to visiting again with our family soon.

Das gelbe Haus ist mit allen Annehmlichkeiten ausgestattet und auf Grund seiner idyllischen Lage mitten in einem Weinberg/ Olivenhain der beste Ort zum Erholen und Entspannen. Die Einrichtung ist kurz gesagt hochwertig, stilvoll und funktional. Besonders der offene Kamin im Wohnraum ist ein Erlebnis. Die vielen, direkt am Haus angelegten Terrassen laden zum Verweilen ein und ein großer Pool steht in den Sommermonaten zur Verfügung. Für Kinder befindet sich ein kleiner Spielplatz direkt auf dem Grundstück. Der Vermieter ist sehr symphatisch, zuvorkommend und bei Fragen jederzeit erreichbar. Er gab uns wertvolle Tipps zu Abstechern in die Umgebung jenseits der touristischen Hauptrouten. Hervorragend sind der von ihm auf dem Gut angebaute Wein und das Olivenöl! Mit dem Auto können innerhalb kurzer Zeit Städte wie u.a. Florenz, Siena, Pisa oder San Gimignano bereist werden. Einkaufsmöglichkeiten befinden sich in der näheren Umgebung. Besonders die kleinen Ladengeschäfte in San Donato sind zu empfehlen.

La maison ayant été rénovée récemment est en très bon état ,très propre, bien agencée. On y trouve tout ce qu'il faut, le wifi fonctionne très bien. Il y a beaucoup d'espace à l'extérieur et un accès direct à la foret. La piscine commune est très belle, avec des vues magnifiques sur les vignes et les paysages typiques du Chianti. La maison est vraiment bien placée, proche de belles petites villes comme San Gimignano, et à mi chemin entre Florence et Sienne. Stefano le propriétaire nous a réservé un bon accueil et nous a même fait déguster le vin qu'il produit sur place. Nous recommandons cette location!
