Delightful, bright airy house in Barclay Club. Living/dining room has large flat screen tv, DVR, DVD player, iPod docking station, comfy leather furniture, sliding glass doors to screened in and glassed in porch which is air conditioned. Kitchen is equipped with electric stove, dishwasher, microwave, coffee maker, tea kettle, food processor/blender, ice cream maker, ice maker and filtered water in frig door, toaster oven, and enough dishes, pots an pans, stainless and glassware for eight. There's another sliding door to the patio where you'll find the brand new full size Weber gas grill and patio furniture.
Master bedroom has en suite with walk in closet and two sinks, king bed, flat screen tv, sitting area, sliding glass doors to patio and plenty of storage for clothes and personal items. Guest room has twin beds, sliding glass doors to it's own private courtyard, and own entrance to guest bath. Third bedroom is set up with a glass work desk and a queen size sleeper sofa with memory foam mattress. The wireless router is in here, and books and games are stored in the closet - help yourself. High quality linens are provided, and plenty of towels, pillows and blankets - it can get chilly in January and February!
The phone has unlimited long distance (USA) and voicemail. Cable in the master and expanded plus HBO in the living room, with a DVR.
A full golf membership is available and is transferrable for a fee. It includes all member benefits including dining, health and racket and croquet plus a 20% discount on all purchases. Game and card rooms in the clubhouse are included. There is an active social schedule at the club - trivia nights, cocktail parties, and more. FIVE golf courses. The spa at the hotel is five star- we all just had the most amazing facials there on mothers day weekend! You can spend the day there. The health and fitness club has various classes seven days a week. Water aerobics, line dancing, yoga, a fully equipped gym, a separate gym for those who wish to use a personal trainer, a racket ball court, and bike rentals.
And when you're all done you can come back to the house,chill with a galss of your favorite wine, relax inside or out and decide which of the 5 golf courses you'll play tomorrow.

About the owner: We never thought we'd vacation in Florida, but the combination of this house and palm trees, golf, restaurants and shopping kept drawing us back. We're used to the hustle and bustle of New York, and this area offers enough to be busy and involved, but the atmosphere is one of relaxation and peace. Locals refer to south Florida as the sixth borough - it's true, but not as congested as we are up north. So the pace is slower, people are friendly, and even in the middle of 'season' everything is easier. I've even flown down just to do my Christmas/Chanukah shopping to avoid New York's lines, crowds, rudeness. We're what is sometimes called snowflakes. We keep going back and forth between New York and PGA, never staying in either place long enough to get bored. Just an easy flight from Newark airport and we're here for another stay in paradise.
Why the Owner Chose Palm Beach Gardens:
We call our house PEACE. It's the perfect size, allowing us to have guests, parties, barbecues but small enough to manage easily. It's a free standing house, so when inside it's totally peaceful and quiet. The two car garage also contains the washer and dryer. The neighborhood is small and quiet, with the community pool only steps away. Our little community, Barclay Club, is minutes from 95 and Florida's turnpike, and within a ten - fifteen minute drive there is every kind of restaurant, shopping and service you could need. Barclay Club is designed to look like Bermuda, one of my favorite places in the world. It's full of friendly people, about half full time residents, and quiet streets where i love to ride my bike and sometimes stop to chit chat.
The Unique Benefits at this House:
We have wanted a vacation home for years, actually once owning one in Newport, Rhode Island, but New England's cold damp winters, and New York's icy snowy streets weren't as much fun as when we were in our twenties and thirties. In 2006 we started coming down to southeast Florida and fell in love. Within six months i was trying to convince my husband to buy, and once he saw PGA he was ready! After viewing about fifty homes and apartments from Highland Beach to Palm Beach Gardens we found this house. It's abundance of natural light and happy colors took my breath away when we walked in. We negotiated a price and celebrated that night with a sumptuous meal and great wine. The private, walled in yard is wonderful for evenings with wine and friends. The house is equipped with everything we need to be comfortable, but not enough to be cluttered. The open, casual feel makes it the perfect vacation home for us, and our friends and family.
