From the moment you walk in the door, views of the mountains, city and harbour greet you in this 85 square meter (897 square feet) one bedroom plus loft accommodation on two levels with five meter ceilings. Rental includes high-speed Internet, cable vision, an alarm system and one parking space in building. The space will accommodate two couples on 160cm (queen-size) beds. A 55 square meter (590 square foot) roof terrace accessed from within the loft is fully equipped with barbecue, dining table and loungers. The artistic, cultural and culinary center of Granville Island is steps away with the daily public market, an abundance of restaurants, theatre, music, galleries, a private boat harbour and the seawall for walking and biking. Vanier and Kitsilano beaches are nearby and the electric boats of the inner harbour connect the loft with the Olympic Village, Science World, English Bay beaches and many other sites. Trendy 4th avenue shops and restaurants are two blocks away.
Arthur Erickson Landmark Building: The Waterfall Building, by world-renowned architect Arthur Erickson, is an important landmark in the city.
Granville Island: Granville Island is an urban oasis.
Local Beaches: The closest beach to access from the loft is Kitslano. English Bay is also close by ferry from Granville Island.

We had a great time in vancouver thanks to the location of this property. Right next to Granville Island with its varied eating places and superb market. Easy transport into the downtown area by bus and ferry. Once you get used to the quaint concrete and steel decor in the property, you will find a well equipped, clean and comfortable abode away from home. The roof garden was a great feature - although the furniture was a tad "rustic". Cheryl, the local contact, was very helpful and looked after us well. She was always there on time - a real bonus these days. Cheers Cheryl. We are fairly fussy and look for good/high standards in what we pay for. I can tell you that we had no problems with this well located property although the building itself is quite quirky - concrete and grass! It will be my first port of call If we return to vancouver. Highly recommended

This is a really good place to stay in Vancouver - well equipped although the bed linen was crumpled and could do with being a bit more contemporary. All facilities were as expected and the kitchen had an extraordinary amount of equipment for a rental apartment. Location was first class - Granville Island market is superb if you like to cook and the small ferry service linking to Downtown vancouver is excellent and cheap.

Ideal Vancouver base for couple or family
If you're heading to Vancouver and location, comfort and views are important to you then look no further. Our experience was very positive from booking right through to handing the keys back. The property itself is ideally located to explore Vancouver. It's literally round the corner from Granville Island and about a 20 minute stroll to the beach at Kitsilano. The main bus route picks up and drops off just outside (number 50 to get Downtown) and plenty of restaurants within a 10-15 minute walk. The views from inside, but particularly outside on the roof garden, are fantastic as you're looking over the Granville Island marina to Downtown Vancouver. Plenty of seats to sit and enjoy in daylight and when the City lights up. We travelled with 2 kids (10 & 6) who shared the comfortable bed settee. Probably not right for toddlers as there is a prominent staircase. Ideal for a couple of family of 4 without toddlers. The parking space was also very handy. All in all we were very pleased and would have no hesitation in booking again if we're fortunate enough to find ourselves back in Vancouver!

I stayed together with my wife and little daughter at his apartment for 4 nights. It is located just next to Granville Island and is well connected to downtown for both car and public transportation. There are plenty of restaurants and cafes in close vicinity, a convenient store just at the corner. The apartment was well mantained and clean. The kitchen is fully equipped, however, there are no cooking basics, The interior design is modern, the layout loft-like. There is a roof terrace, the view on Vancouver downtown at day and nite is great: We can strongly recommend this property. Of course there are much cheaper possibilities for a stay in Vancouver. However, for a hotel suite of this design, size and location, you would have to pay definitely more. - We enjoyed our stay very much and would like to return again.
