A cozy house built on this lakefront property can offer the needed relaxation and fun that you and your family are looking for.
This is a 2 level house and all basic amenities will be provided during your stay. There is a large wooden deck in the backyard where you can breathe in fresh air, see the hummingbirds fly by, and if you are lucky, you may see a few deers swimming across the lake. The house has its own private dock and there is a rowboat, complete with life jackets for you to use anytime during your stay. A large sandbox is waiting for the kids to create their own sandcastles, and adults can build a bonfire nearby. A few minute drive will take you to a breathtaking sunrise or sunset at the ocean. You can fish at the private dock or at the ocean.

This house could not have been better. We loved everything about it. Even the deer that came to visit every evening. The photos on your website do not capture the little details that make the house such a welcoming beach getaway. The only thing I would suggest is to have a regular drip coffeepot for those who like their own special blend. We will definately be back. There were eight of us that spent labor day weekend at this cozy home. It was a wonderful weekend getaway, perfect for families, couples or friends like us. :) It was actually more than everything we imagined, with all of the comforts of home. The house was very clean, the beds were comfy and we did not have a problem with anything. Be sure to explore the house because they were stocked with everything you need: Games, fishing supplies, movies and even a waffle maker! You are a five minute drive from the beach, and to be honest, we only went to the beach three times because we enjoyed the house so much. We took advantage of the little boat in the back and had bonfires nightly in their firepit. The neighbors were so kind and even brought over a barrell of wood for our fire. The only downside is that the neighbor's dogs bark almost constantly. I did not personally mind, as I have dogs myself. However, this is just something to keep in mind if you do not like dogs or cannot stand barking. We had an absolutely perfect stay. Thank you Holly and Andrew for sharing your home with us! The rental home was great! The lake was very beautiful and relaxing. Saw SO many deer, my son caught his first fish from the dock. The beds were very comfortable.Recommended for: Sightseeing, age 55+, families with teenagers, romantic getaway, families with young children, girls getaway.

We had a wonderful stay at this VRBO property. It was clean, accessible to both Duck Lake and the ocean, and just a relaxing, beautiful property. This home is not fancy but is very comfortable and inviting. My friends and I felt like we were staying at a friends home. They had thought of everything. The view of the lake is serene, it is very quiet there. I would highly recommend this property.Recommended for: Age 55+, families with teenagers, romantic getaway, girls getaway.

This house is perfect for a romantic vacation or a family vacation. The kids had a ton of fun. I loved that the lake was just behind the house. The rowboat was fun to use. I would recommend this place for many.Recommended for: Families with teenagers, romantic getaway, families with young children.

We really enjoyed our stay! The kids loved fishing from the dock and digging in the sandbox! Everyone loved the boat ride! Very nice view!Recommended for: Age 55+, families with teenagers, romantic getaway, families with young children.
