Here's a great article on what makes Highlands so unique:http://blog.forbestravelguide.com/four-southern-towns-worthy-of-a-detour. Falling waters itself is a walking dream-rolling, beautiful landscape, wildlife--even an occasional mama bear & cubs!
Year Purchased: 1998
About the owner: We came to the Highlands area in 1996 from Palm Beach County Florida after retiring (Show & Sell publications). We fell in love with the area and became 'accidental hands on developers' of Falling Waters a fifty two acre community....long story. We attend Community Bible Church, (one of the highlights of the area) where Paula sings in the choir. We keep busy taking care of the development...mowing, blowing leaves, weed wacking, planting flowers etc. We like to take short trips in our 5th wheel when we can.
Why the Owner Chose Highlands: Great location, Just 2.8 miles from downtown Highlands gentle land good for walking, building..waterfalls and creeks.
We have 35 acres for sale if you would like to join us, carve out your parcel .75 acres to 10+ acres choose from Waterfall view, Creek front or multi acre Private Estate...great prices too. To see more photos of the neighborhood and homes go to highlandsnchomesites.com
