We purchased this condo in February of 2012 and completely gutted all but the walls of this ground floor condo. This 2 bedroom condo is located in the Chateaux Condos in Mt. Crested Butte, just steps from the infamous steeps of Mt Crested Butte, a skier and snowboarders dream. World famous mountain biking trails abound within minutes of this centrally located condo. The kitchen features new custom made knotty alder cabinets, a new granite slab countertop and all stainless steel appliances. The main living/dining/kitchen has hardwood floors and all the inner doors and trim have been replaced. The fireplace also received a facelift with the addition of natural stone.
The master bedroom has a king size bed, flat screen television and an ensuite bathroom. The bathroom features natural stone throughout and a travertine shower and a new custom vanity. The guest bedroom has a bunk bed with a twin on top, double on the bottom and a separate twin bed. Bathroom is also ensuite with a tub/shower combo and all new natural stone and custom cabinetry.
The Chateaux condo has an outside heated pool, hot tub and sauna. The pool is one of only 3 outside pools on the mountain. The condo complex is one of the most well maintained in the area.
There is also a free shuttle that will take you to the base area of the mountain or walk the few short minutes it takes to get to the base area. From the base area there is a free shuttle that takes you to the town of Crested Butte and back.
This condo is top notch from top to bottom. You won't be disappointed!

We stayed in this adorable condo for a week in September. It was terrific! The condo was just recently renovated, everything worked perfectly, all new appliances, and super clean. The furnishings and beds were super comfortable and had a lovely ambiance. Great owners who also happen to be property managers made our stay wonderful. Couldn't think of a better place to stay in Mt. CB especially with the pool and hot tub.Recommended for: Families with teenagers, adventure seekers, sightseeing, families with young children, romantic getaway, tourists without a car, age 55+, girls getaway, people with disabilities.

Great remodeled unit with everything you need. Well decorated and comfortable condo with well equipped kitchen. We stayed 5 days in this condo in the summer. Kids enjoyed the pool and hot tub and parents enjoyed drinks on the patio. Enjoyed many activities.....mountain biking, hiking, paddle boarding and shopping in Crested Butte. Cooked most of our meals in the condo. Only downfall was the stove (oven and cooktop) seem to take forever to heat up......maybe I was doing something wrong, or am used to commercial kitchen equipment. Would highly recommend this unit and will hopefully be returning to it next summer!Recommended for: Families with teenagers, adventure seekers, families with young children.

Our family stayed for three weeks in July in this very comfortable condo just steps from all Mt. Crested Butte activities. The unit had recently been completely and elegantly renovated and included all the amenities we could ask for including tea pot, tupperware containers, plenty of pots and pans, and a whole spice rack! The bedrooms were cleverly furnished to maximize space for guests, the small patio allowed us to enjoy the lovely mountain breezes, and the open parking was always available. Having stayed in many ski condos in Colorado over the years, we would definitely rate this one among the best, especially for the price.
