This 5 Bedroom, 2 1/2 bath, sits on over an acre on a beautiful pond and is perfect for a multi-family vacation. The home has two kitchens, 2 decks, 4 bedrooms on the second floor, and one on the first floor with a private deck and outdoor shower. It also has an eat in kitchen, formal dining room that seats 10-12, private office with Free Wifi and fireplace in Living room, as well as a separate den with large bay windows, also large bay windows in the living room and the dining room which has a table that seats 10-12 people and also has a large bay window which brings in lots of light. It can sleep 12. It is approx. a mile and half from Nauset Beach, and 3 miles to Skaket Beach and Rock Harbor. It is also a short walk to Nauset Farms, and the ice cream shop, Sundae School. The bedroom set up is as follows, 1 Queen Size Bed on the first floor bedroom and the 4 Bedrooms Upstairs are as follows-1 King Size Bed, 2 twins with trundle beds in the British/Red Sox Bedroom (which will sleep 4), 1 Queen Size, and 1 Twin with trundle bed. The house has a new owner who has put in a brand new composite deck with a brand new grill, and all brand new furniture and beds. Also, has added a brand new LG refridgerator as well as new Maytag confection/oven and Fisher/Paykel diswasher.

We lucked out and were able to rent this home on short notice over Labor Day - what a treat! The owner was incredibly helpful and responsive (even left a bottle of wine and some iced coffee for us) and the home itself was immaculate with very tasteful yet comfortable decor (tough to find in a cape rental!). Yes, the bathrooms and kitchen are a bit dated, but very clean and the kitchen itself is very well stocked with dishes, nice pots and pans, etc. The layout of the home is great - especially for 2 families because of the separate "apartment" (bedroom, den, kitchen, bathroom and deck - plus a fabulous outdoor shower!) just off of the den of the main house. We enjoyed being able to walk down to Nauset Farms, Sundae School and a great pizza place just a block down the road. Plus, the house is convenient to both Nauset and Skaket beaches. The ONLY reason not to give this house a 5 rating is that it is on a bit of a busy street but that didn't really bother us. Definitely recommend this home.Recommended for: Families with young children, families with teenagers, girls getaway.

We had a wonderful week in Cape Cod in this lovely house near several great beaches. The owner could not have been more helpful . The house felt like being home. It comfortable fit two families and our daughters loved having their own suite. The location was excellent - we walked to dinner and ice cream and made several trips to Wellsfleet (recommend the drive-in movie), Chatham and P-town. All an easy drive away. Nauset beach was great for boogie boarding and surfing - you can also buy milk shakes from a stand right on the beach. Skaket beach was great in the evening - beautiful sunsets and gentle warm water. Overall this was a great vacation and I would recommend this house to anyone looking to be centrally located in a house that feels like home!Recommended for: Sightseeing, families with young children, pet owners, families with teenagers, age 55+, girls getaway.

The minute we arrived at this property we realized that we had over paid for this rental. The street is extremely busy and noisy. It never seems to calm down until very late at night. I think the kitchen and bathrooms are quite out of date. The "half bath" is a toilet in the unfinished basement. The downstairs full bath doubles as a passageway into the downstairs bedroom and den. Very cramped. We found the wifi to be quite inconsistent in all but one room. No DVD player in the main room. The deck is new and nice, but a number of us tripped on the pavers that led to the deck stairs which I think was a hazard. The outdoor shower was great. I think this house is way over priced and would never stay here again.Owner response: I find this appalling considering I was extremely flexible with these guests and I allowed them to bring their family dog and they assured me that they would take good care of my home. Not only did they bring one, they brought three dogs of which there was so much dog hair, that the cleaning company called me come to review the shape of the house. There were dog feces left on the carpeted stairs that the cleaning crew had to scrub out. They ruined one of my Claire Murray rugs in the kitchen, as well as left my brand new Maytag oven completely filthy on the inside. Also, my neighbors complained to me about how rowdy their three boys were, urinating in the driveway, honking the horn in the driveway, as well as using the bull horn at a deafening level at 8:30 in the morning. If they felt like they overpaid or the house was not up to there standards they should have contacted me in the beginning of the week. I never disclosed that the bathrooms nor kitchens were state of the art and I wil be updating them this year because I just bought the house 2 months ago. I would say if you are an owner, I would put a caution on renting to these people.
