This is the perfect house for an ocean getaway. Only steps from the beach, this freshly-remodeled home has a new walk-around deck with an ocean view from the "front porch." Pick your relaxation - sit and sip on the deck while watching the activity at one of the Santa Cruz area's favorite beaches, or gather the beach chairs (provided) and the kids to enjoy being outside on this beautiful, long, wide, beautiful setting where the ocean meets the land!
Upstairs is the living area with a front room, kitchen, eating counter, and half bath. Downstairs there are two bedrooms and a full bath. The entire house has been renovated with granite kitchen and bathroom counter tops, new kitchen appliances, carpet, cabinets, and amenities. Very clean and comfortable. Just the right size, not too big, not too small!
Picnic table on the deck along with a gas barbecue. One bedroom has a queen-size bed, the other has a trundle bed that can be made into twins. Cable Flat screen TV, Blu-Ray DVD, Free WiFi. Shower outside in the carport for getting the sand out!

Just got home from our incredibly relaxing vacation. What a beautiful house. The owners of this property really care for this property, it's in great shape and has so many little details! You can really tell that a lot of thought and love has gone into this home. One more thing. There's a great view from the front Deck (which we weren't expecting). The walk to the beach is short and easy. Really happy with our choice and will definitely plan another trip.
Recommended for:Girls getaway, romantic getaway, age 55+, tourists without a car, sightseeing, families with young children.

We really enjoyed our stay here. The owners have put so much care into all the little details and amenities that it felt like we were staying in a home as opposed to a rental. The place seems brand new, and was immaculate when we arrived. I thought I would have preferred being right on the oceanfront, but it was actually nice being tucked away on this quiet little street, and it's still just a block from the beach, and conveniently near the grocery store. We would definitely return for another visit!

The owners were very helpful, responding quickly to emails and helping us have a great experience. The house is just a few minutes walk to the beach, and right next to Pixie's Deli (love it!). You can see the Cement Boat from the balcony and look out over the pool at Rio Sands. Plus, the house is well stocked with all necessary supplies: toiletries, linens, towels, and even an Aerobed if you get a last minute surprise visitor! We had a great time and already have family members vying to steal it from us next summer.
