  We really enjoyed staying in this lovely home for 3 weeks this spring. The house is well equipped and has a very homey feel. It was spotless when we arrived. At various times during or stay we had anywhere from one - six people staying at the house and it never felt too large or too small. The main floor of the house (cottage) has a spacious master bedroom & bath, office, living room, kitchen, breakfast area, dining room, laundry room & ½ bath. The main house (cottage) also has a 2nd bedroom with bath & sitting area on the upper level. Over the garage is in effect an apartment - 2 bedrooms, bath, living room & kitchen. We liked being able to look out over the golf course from the deck. The weather wasn’t quite warm enough for us to use the screen porch but I can imagine that it would be a wonderful place to sit in warm weather. The home’s location was ideal for us, not too far from what I refer to as “downtown” Kiawah (an area known as Fresh Fields which is a small shopping area with some attractive shops, banks, several delicious restaurants, grocery store etc.) or too far from the golf courses and beach. The beach goes for miles!! We’ve already booked the house for next year!!

  Wow the home was perfect. Met our every need Central to most of the golf courses and just a short drive to Freshfields. Home sits on the 6th green of osprey point golf course. The two bedroom apt above the garage is three short steps from the house and is perfect for annoying relatives or a nice place to put the teenagers for their own "pad"

  Recommended for: Age 55+, pet owners, romantic getaway, families with teenagers.

  We recently had the opportunity to stay at this wonderful home. The house was in excellent condition and we loved having access to the guest house. The house has so much space and it gave us plenty of room to spread out with 4 children under the age of 5. We also loved the location of this home which is in the heart of Vanderhorst Plantation and very close to the 2012 PGA Ocean Course as well as the beach. There are also miles and miles of excellent bike riding in the area and the home is located on one of Kiawah's great golf courses. Thank you so much for sharing your home with us....we couldn't have asked for a better vacation!

  Upon arrival, we found everything in good order & condition, except for a burned-out light bulb in the master BR closet. However, there were extra bulbs available, so we replaced it w/o issue. Lovely home located on Osprey Point golf course, #10 green I believe (not a big golfer). Between 6:30-7:00AM, was able to watch a doe and her two fawns play through each day, before the greens crew came through. Home has very large rooms, with 2 bedrooms in the main structure, and 2 additional bedrooms over the garage. Also had a screened in portion of the deck, complete with table and chairs, plus an outside portion of the deck. Owner/property manager was very helpful in answering all my questions. We would highly recommend this property. Thank you so much.

  This home has it all! Tons of space, comfortable accommodations, privacy and an incredible view of the golf course to boot. Wonderful screened in porch where you can enjoy the beauty of Kiawah without leaving your place. Quiet street and a short bike ride to everywhere you want to be. Property manager is incredible too -- She communicates all the details with you and even provides restaurant recommendations and tips on things to do while visiting. All in all a wonderful experience and we will be back!
