Spacious 5,500 Sq. Ft. contemporary home on beautiful point lot. 300 feet of shore line in a low-traffic cove.
This special lake house has been our source of laughter, love and fun for years. Our secluded house is tucked away minutes from Downtown Seneca (9 miles from Clemson University) in a new small wooded development. We built this custom home to accommodate our family and friends in a comfortable and fashionable setting.
Lake Keowee is known for it's 300 miles of shore line and amazing clear water. This pristine lake is popular for wakeboarding, water skiing, boating, fishing and camping... etc. Boat rentals are available at Lake Keowee marina but must be reserved at least one week in advance. For those who enjoy golf, you have the beautiful Clemson University Public course and 3 excellent private courses (The Reserve & The Cliffs at Keowee Vineyard- Jack Nicklaus course) a short distance away!
Our home is located in a quite, deep water cove. It is surrounded by two cove inlets with a fabulous view towards open water.
For just relaxing you may enjoy sunbathing on the dock, or basking in our large flat back yard. It is a great area for volleyball, badminton, horseshoes, boce ball or even sleeping under the stars in your favorite pup tent! The backyard stone fire ring makes for great sing-alongs and roasting marshmallows too!
Walking into our home you will find a cozy, warm, great room with a second story wooded ceiling and floor-to-ceiling stone fire place (gas). The master bedroom is on the main floor with a large walk-in closet, full bath with jacuzzi tub and a private covered deck. The spacious fully equipped kitchen (electric range, dishwasher, two door refrigerator/freezer, etc.) has a double door pantry, granite countertops (including center island) and breakfast bar. Kitchen utensils, linens and towels are provided. Adjacent the kitchen is a lovely bright sunroom for reading, morning coffee, or just quite time to think! Sit at sunset or sunrise on the screened-in porch watching the fish jump or listening to a variety of bird calls. The large utility/mud room with washer/dryer and a sink is also on main floor and easy to deposit your wet towels in after a long day of swimming!
Our second floor balcony overlooks the great room and connects two wings of the house. On the west side is a huge bonus room with pool table, ping pong table for a rainy day or an evening of family games. This room can also be used as a bedroom with a queen size futon in it. Each wing has it's separate bedroom and bathroom.
The remaining bedrooms are located in the walk-out terrace level, each room with the view of the lake and the manicured lawn. This floor as well has two wings conjoined by a wonderful common living area with gas fireplace, comfortable sectional couch and large screen TV. This level was designed for ultimate privacy as each bedroom has a private access to their bathroom and a fun place for a multiple families to hang out!
Whether it's an action packed water week or a time to sit back and relax you will create those wonderful memories for years to come at this glorious vacation home!

Our Family gathered here for the Thanksgiving holiday, and we couldn't have asked for a more idyllic setting for the occasion. The three levels provided more than enough space for all 10 of us (from 3 generations) to spread out and relax. The house is kept in mint condition, but by far its greatest feature is the view. The house is filled with tons of large windows, providing you with a breath-taking view of the lake from nearly every room in the house. Another great feature of the house is its spacious kitchen, which is well-stocked, and proved to be perfect for our Thanksgiving feast. Other wonderful features include the screened in porch (great for reading and relaxing), the Ping-Pong/pool table, the large garage with an extra refrigerator, the fireplaces, the large TV downstairs and dock access. We look forward to our next stay and would recommend it to anyone who is looking for a luxurious, relaxing setting on the lake.Recommended for: Families with teenagers, age 55+, families with young children, girls getaway.

We had a family get together for a long weekend at this lovely home. There were a dozen adults from all over, and we had a wonderful time. The house and setting are spectacular. We all had plenty of room and privacy. The house was set up well for our needs. Everything was clean and lovely and just as it looks in the photos. Even though the house is private and at the end of the road, it was only minutes away from everything we needed. I would highly recommend this home.Recommended for: Sightseeing, age 55+, adventure seekers, romantic getaway, families with young children, girls getaway.

This home (because that is what it is) is beautifully furnished and equipped with everything you would need for a wonderful break. It is situated in a quiet neighborhood with enough space around to provide privacy. It has a boat dock in a sheltered cove that is perfect for swimming. All rooms are large and most bedrooms are en suite. There is a games room and large TV room with board games. Highly recommended for a family reunion.Recommended for: Families with teenagers, age 55+, families with young children, girls getaway.

We have visited the lake house every year for the past five years and we absolutely LOVE it. We have four children and this is one of their favorite trips! The house is beautiful, comfortable and accomodating. The dock and private cove are perfect for swimming and just hanging out. The yard is great for the kids to play and, at night, we love to build a fire to make s'mores. Lake Keowee is a great lake and we enjoy our many hours spent on the lake. The surrounding area is quite nice and we especially enjoy hiking to the many different waterfalls. Visiting the lake house is always a great family vacation and we recommend it highly.Recommended for: Families with teenagers, sightseeing, adventure seekers, romantic getaway, families with young children, girls getaway, tourists without a car, pet owners.

Thanks so much for sharing your gorgeous home with us. We loved the private cove -- great swimming for the kids and peaceful rafting for the adults. Home is so warm and welcoming, not to mention spacious. Kitchen was great for cooking our family meals. But my favorite part was relaxing on the screened porch each morning, enjoying a cup of coffee and a stunning view of the woods and lake. Can't wait to visit again.Recommended for: Families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway.

This house is huge, beautifully decorated and immaculate. So well maintained and appointed. The screened porch off the kitchen is a great place to hang out and enjoy coffee or happy hour. The dock is fantastic for laying out and the cove where the house is situated is perfect for swimming and lounging on a raft. I wish I could come back more often!Recommended for: Families with teenagers, romantic getaway, families with young children, girls getaway.

This house is fabulous! We had the pleasure of staying here over memorial day weekend and can't say enough positive things about the home, the location, and the overall experience. The house is appointed with anything you could want or need and the lot and waterfront views are amazing. Whether you want to hang out inside or out, this property has everything you could need. Our family has been to many lake houses over the years and we have yet to experience the enjoyment this property has. The owners are a pleasure to deal with and extremely responsive to last minute questions and requests. If you are thinking about a lakehousento rent on keowee, this is your place.Recommended for: Families with teenagers, people with disabilities, sightseeing, age 55+, adventure seekers, romantic getaway, families with young children, girls getaway.

About the owner: Hi, we are the Brandt family from Charlotte, North Carolina. We built our lakehouse in 2001 when we lived in Atlanta, Georgia. Our youngest son was only two years old at the time. Our kids have grown up in this vacation home and we have had many incredible memories here. We hope you fall in love with the incredible area as we did and make Lake Keowee a part of your family history too!
Why the Owner Chose Seneca:
Lake Keowee is the perfect vacation spot! The quality of the clean, clear water is by far one of the most outstanding in the Southeast.
The Unique Benefits at this House:
Our goal was to build a home that brought the 'outside--in'!! The view of the water can be seen from every spot in the home! It is an open floor plan with lots of air and light! The home feels nestled in a very secluded setting, while being so convenient to everything you will need for comfort.
