Paradise Ranch Cottage 'Bring Your Horses' Trails abound on this 200 acre ranch, enjoy a one bedroom cozy cottage with your horses paddock a few feet away, Fire Pit for your evenings, Swimming Pool after a good ride, training in the round pen or out door arena, Tack Room, and hours of trails right here on the ranch or jump on the rails to trails and explore 52 km of horse quality tracks along the Slocan River.
DONT RIDE?? don't worry, you can hike , bike, swim , drift down the Slocan river in inner tube, kayak, climb, fish , golf, shop skip, sled, hunt, and go for scenic drives . And more. The Slocan Valley is a HUB of out door experiences. When you have spent the day doing what you love to do? relax in front of your own fire pit or suntan around the ranch swimming pool. About the owner: Moving from Vancouver Island to the Pristine Slocan Valley was the best thing we could have ever done for our growing family, We now have a grandson who adores the Ranch and loves to play in the fields or hide in the forest. We know that you will be in awe of the big sky and the mountains that surround this ranch. One of the largest ranches in all of the Slocan Valley.
Why the Owner Chose Slocan:
As soon as you start down our tree covered 1/2 mile drive way...You know you have reached somewhere special. Hide from the rest of the world, Its like stepping back in time. Even locals who have lived here all their lives have been surprised when they enter our property. We can't count how many times we have heard ' We didn't even know this was here!!!
As you drive down you come upon a huge open space of paddocks, hay land with grazing horses, Maple trees line this drive way and large barns and hay storage structures stand small agains the mountains that surround us. Only the 3rd family to own this farm since 1898 we are proud to call this home
