  I would rate Sunset Cove as a 6 on the scale of 1 to 5. We celebrated my Mom and Dad's 50th anniversary there as a family and made life long memories. My Mom even sat out on the deck and saw her first shooting star ever the night of their 50th anniversary - talk about magical! The house floor plan allows for large groups to enjoy each other while letting everyone have some space. In the middle of the afternoon my brother fished, Mom and Dad enjoyed sitting on the deck together, the girls went to Cadiz to shop, my sister and I sipped a bottle of wine in front of the fireplace and the teenagers watched football, and played pool and WI downstairs. The kitchen is a good size and well equipped for feeding a big bunch of hungry people. The view was astounding from every level of the house and the sunset was breathtaking! The owner has spared no expense on this beautiful property and it is cozy and comfortable and welcoming. We will definitely visit this home again!

  This place was just what the doctor ordered. We couldn't have asked for a better location and home to have a family outing and catch up with the family and the crazy lifestyle that exists otherwise. We were able to enjoy the gorgeous inside views and facilites during the evening after dark and enjoy the benefits of all the amenities of the home during the daylight hours. We reallly appreciate all the tv's and games to accomodate multiple families and kids along with grown ups. The awesome deck with the chairs and picnic tables and bbq grill is a great touch. Thank you for the lasting memory and we look forward to coming back soon.

  You will not be disappointed!!! The owner was delightful to work with and the house is BEAUTIFUL!!! Our group had an amazing time mostly in part to how at home we felt in Sunset Cove!! You don't need to pack anything but you. The house had all the amenities, including a high efficiency washer and dryer. We all hope to return to sunset cove next year !!!

  This house in Sunset Cove was the perfect house for our family of two parents, four young adult children and three of their significant others. We were there for our youngest daughter’s wedding near Murray, the rehearsal dinner at Kenlake Cherokee and the wedding reception at Lake Barkley. The location was perfect for trips to the Barkley Lodge, grocery and antique shopping. We enjoyed fishing from the dock, watching the boats and sipping coffee on the spacious deck while listening to the music of many birds….oh, so peaceful is this place! The kitchen and bathrooms are very clean and efficient, everything about this house well-planned with gorgeous lake views, the refrigerator is huge and everyone enjoyed the pool table and wii. While dining one evening at the Lake Barkley Lodge, an electrical storm with 70 mph winds caused several small power outages in the restaurant. When we went back to Sunset Cove we discovered that we and all the houses we passed had no electricity. It was off for only three hours. The next morning the owner called to see if we were all OK! The owner of this house is a great communicator and very easy to work with. This is a very safe and private place and we thank the owner for sharing this with our family.

  What a great House. Thank you. The location was perfect for all of my children to make it for a great vacation. Plenty of room, spacious and very clean. The kitchen was perfect and completely equipped with everything you could need. The view was spectacular. We really enjoyed Cadiz as well. The local people there were very friendly and nice. The Owner was very accommodating and helpful with tips on local golf courses and restaurants. Would highly recommend. Thank you for sharing

  Wonderful, comfortable vacation home! Lots of room for everyone to spread out - we had 4 adults and 3 teens and 4 children in our group. Pool table and wii kept kids happy in evening. Loved reading and having coffee on the shady deck in the morning - So relaxing! Beautiful sunsets! Lake water perfect temperature for swimming. The owners are very accessible and great to work with.

  Our family was so impressed with this vacation rental that we just had to write a review! From the dock/lake access and views, beautiful decks, privacy, pool table and childrens games/wii we all had a great time!! The furninshings were beautiful, and the kitchen fully stocked. I loved the location on the lake, and yet the close proximity to downtown Cadiz. We especially enjoyed the quality features in the home, and safe setting for our children. Our children loved to boat to Sandy Cove and play for hours! Our special thanks to the Owner for directing us to some great locations on the lake.

  My family and I were the first to stay at this magnificant property just recently listed. The lake side view is just incredible -- all glass. The three stories provide for excellent division of a large family, giving teens space and adults room to gather. The balcony provided a beautiful morning coffee and hours of shade. We had fun playing billards and fishing off the dock. The property is located very close to the Lake Barkley Lodge so boating there for a breakfast buffet or dinner was easy! I could go on and on but I have had a poor experience with another property near Cadiz so it was all the better for this experience to be exceptional. The owner was extremely easy to work with and I want to personally thank him for the accommodations.
