Casa Calbaza is a Mexican modern architect-designed house. The views of the Pacific Ocean and sunsets are breathtaking, and the house is only steps to the beach.
Open-air palapa living/dining area, private bedroom suites looks out on the Pacific. A shallow dipping pool, terraces, and dramatic tropical landscaping create an atmosphere of casual elegance and tranquility. New, modern, and comfortable furnishings and original works of Mexican art throughout.
The house is located at the north end of Sayulita, which is less crowded and very quiet, and only about a 10-15 minute walk along the beach or road, or a three-minute drive to the village. There is a private driveway behind the house.
The upstairs bedroom suite has a queen-size bed, study/dressing room and terrace, all with views. The attached bath has an outdoor garden shower with total privacy.
The downstairs bedroom is very large with a queen-size bed, sitting area, dressing area with refrigerator, full bath, and a terrace with a dipping pool and views. A fold-out bed is also available.
Great privacy with 2 seperate suites for two couples, or plenty of space for a family of 4.

We found your home to be a terrific property, in very good condition and in a great location. Everything went beautifully and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. We particularly enjoyed the beautiful design, wonderful floor plan and tasteful decorating of your home. The open panoramic view and airiness of the palapa was outstanding. We also appreciated how well equipped and well stocked the kitchen and bathrooms were. The overall repair and cleanliness of the home and property was very good and Jocelyn [local house manager] was also very helpful when needed. We really enjoyed our stay and look forward to returning some day soon."

"We had a great time at Casa Calabaza. We loved the quiet, the privacy, the openness, the view from the kitchen, the outdoor shower, the geckos on the walls, the walk into town. You have a unique and beautiful home there and we enjoyed it very much. And we loved Sayulita. It’s a beautiful place with great energy. We spent a day in Puerto Vallarta and passed through Nuevo on another day. We felt so relieved on returning to Sayulita. Definitely our kind of place."
