  Unbelievable property, we couldn't believe how beautiful the house when we walked in. The location was perfect, secluded but just a short drive to town. Great kitchen, we really enjoyed cooking dinner every night and eating on he deck with the awesome view. Everything was perfect, we can't wait to come back sometime

  We visited the Asheville Lodge awith serveral couple friends for a 40th birthday bash weekend. This lodge couldn't have been better. The furnishings and finishes are all top notch, and the house lay-out was perfectly designed to suit our group. Although the weather was less than cooperative, the views from the decks (yes, multiple) were stunning! During our stay we had a minor issue in running out of paper products, and within hours, a representative arrived at the house to save the day! Would definitely book with again, as this property and it's managers genuinely care about the experience they create for their visitors!

  Our entire family had a great time during our stay at the Asheville Lodge Cabin. It was a real busy weekend for our son's wedding and the cabin provided us a great place to rest and relax during our stay. This is definitely the place to getaway if you have a large group or extended family. I would love to come back in the fall of the year and just have a few days to relax and possibly do some hiking or exploring around the mountains. Look forward to possibly coming back some day.

  Amazing scenery yet so close to downtown Asheville. My friends and I have been doing an annual Mountain trip each year for 8 years now and this was our first trip to Asheville. Everyone agreed this would not be the last to Asheville. The house was spacious and divided into three level so that not everyone had to be in the same room at the same time. There were also plenty of beds for everyone and the kitchen was stocked with anything needed for cooking. Certainly would recommend this house to a family or group of friends looking to enjoy a relaxing mountain weekend.

  Awesome Cabin, very spacious, plenty of sleeping space as well as plenty of places to sit around and be with friends. Dining area was plenty large enough for our large group, no seating issues at all. Incredibly close to downtown asheville which offers tons of sights to entertain while still giving the quiet atmosphere that is desired on a mountain getaway. The cool breezes on the porch were second to none. Awesome views. Perfect getaway!

  This house is an amazing place to spend your weekend get-away. I highly recommend this property to anyone who is even slightly considering it. Can't wait to go back and enjoy this place again! A+!

  The Asheville Lodge was the perfect place for a 30 year reunion for our monthly family gatherings for the women in our family. There was PLENTY of room for our 15 people(3were unable to attend) and the cabin was Beautiful. We did not need anything but groceries, games and fun. Thanks to Beth at Yonder Properties for all your help. Will definitely refer to family and friends.

  Asheville Lodge is a treasure, located in a beautiful, quiet neighborhood. Although convenient to downtown Asheville (a 10 minute drive down the mountain) it has the feel of secluded luxury. You can hike down the gravel road or in the other direction through the mountain neighborhood, seeing mountain views at every turn. The lodge has a large, well-stocked kitchen where we prepared a Thanksgiving feast for 16. The dining area and greatroom gave our extended family plenty of room to eat, spread out and visit. The view across the valley is spectacular and there is extensive decking on every level to enjoy when the weather is nice. There is a firepit on the greatroom level deck where those who didn't mind the cold gathered around the fire, playing guitars under the stars. The children among us enjoyed the basement game room where a foosball tournament was held. All in all, a fine time was had by all and this is sure to become a family tradition.

  Every year for the past 13, a group of about 10 - 12 ride motorcycles from the Louisville, KY area into East Tennessee and/or the Carolinas. We have never stayed at the same place twice. This just might be the first. The proximity to "town" while still having the feel of being in a much more remote setting is really great to find. Obviously, there are many choices for scenic day rides as short or as long as you want to make them. The firepit makes for a really relaxing and fun end of the day. The paved drive and roads to the lodge are excellent. The lodge is very well furnished, clean, and modern...no "surprises" !!

  14 of us rented the Asheville Lodge for a wedding weekend in September 2012, and we all agree that we'd love to come back and do it again next year. The house is terrific - the bedrooms and beds are ample. The layout is perfect since there are 3 levels with multiple decks and common spaces so it's not too loud for people who go to bed early or want privacy. The views are amazing, and unlike most of the rentals with similar views in the Asheville area, this one is less than 5 miles from downtown, which made access to dining/bars/etc extremely easy. The cab ride is less than $15 to downtown, so transportation is not an issue for those who stayed out late versus those who wanted to come home early. Would highly recommend this rental to anybody.
