Welcome to the Middle Fork Ranch. Nestled in the upper Hood River Valley, you'll find a warm and inviting farmhouse ideal for family and friends. A perfect place to enjoy privacy in a casual, and relaxed atmosphere. Watch the alpaca as they graze in the grass and curiously engage your presence; walk or bicycle along the local roads and forested trails; or enjoy dining el fresco as the sun sets on Mt. Hood.
Forke Media is ideal for families as well as small groups of friends. Activities include walking the 'secret' trails on the property, riding the zip line from the tree fort or reading in the shade of the rope hammock or hanging in the tree swing. Horseshoes, badminton or picking lavender or wildflowers are offered and always welcome. The fire pit makes for simple evening pleasures.
The garden's bounty supplies fresh organic berries during the summer months of June, July and August. Enjoy ripe strawberries, blueberries or raspberries freshly picked or atop a homemade shortcake (we've a simple recipe that's easy to make and unsurpassable, we think!)

Activities included: hiking and camping, downhill and cross country skiing; trail running to the river, and enjoying small gatherings with family and friends.
Why the Owner Chose Parkdale: Realizing that growth and development would soon take its toll on the south side of Mt. The property was purchased prior to 1998, and he and Kathryn soon began the process of remodeling the original structure to what it is today.
