Modern and comfortable home with panoramic and stunning beach and ocean views, located just across a small road from the beach and an inviting fishing pier, in the picturesque town of Rodanthe on Hatteras Island on North Carolina's Outer Banks.
This home has all the amenities one would look forward to in a desirable, upscale vacation home, such as expansive decks to take in the ocean view from, nine foot ceilings, a pool and hot tub, a recreation room with an 8 foot pool table and card table, 8 flat screen TVs, cement fiberboard siding, a jetted jacuzzi, wainscoting, tile and hardwood, a fireplace, and great furnishings throughout, including upscale Polywood furniture on the decks.
The best part however is the panoramic ocean and beach views from every level, and even from the REAR DECK! This home has better ocean and beach views than most oceanfront homes, and there are even good sound views. The beach is just steps away. This is the vacation home you have been looking for.
The first level has a large tiled recreation room as well as a large bedroom and bath. The second level has three bedroom suites, one of which has a jetted tub, and another has a walk in shower for easy access, as well as a large deck. The top level has a very large great room with built-ins, a large flat screen TV and hardwood flooring, as well as a king master suite, a hall bathroom a kitchen and a dining room area. Naturally the view from the third level deck are amazing.
We stayed there in 2012 and loved it.

What can I say about Ocean Breeze in Rodanthe which already hasn't been said? Not sure, but I CAN say it is a fabulous house, great location, Rodanthe is a very small area, but packed with great activities! The house itself is very well kept and really should be categorized as ocean front! The beach and pier are only 20 yards away. ALSO - especially for those interested in kite-boarding, Kitty Hawk Kites is just across rt 12 on the bayside. All 3 outerbanks kiteschools are just 3 minutes away and if the wind is Easterly, you can kite right out front of the house. Trip was excellent and Morry (the owner) was great. The house management company was great too. No problems, everything worked very well. I brought my two dogs, and they had a great time as well! On the lazier days, instead of walking out to the beach, we just stayed on the three ocean front decks and had a wonderful time relaxing.Recommended for: Families with young children, families with teenagers, pet owners, sightseeing, adventure seekers, girls getaway.

We enjoyed our one week stay in this spacious, lovely home. One of the cleanest rental properties I've ever stayed in. Views of the ocean were amazing and we were so close to the beach. We hadn't anticipated the strong winds and cool weather, but we still kept busy site-seeing, collecting shells, relaxing, shopping and enjoying restaurants. Any guests would be very pleased, as we were, with this great rental property.Recommended for: Families with young children, families with teenagers, romantic getaway, sightseeing, age 55+, adventure seekers, girls getaway.

So we just spent a week at this house over the Thanksgiving holiday. The plan was to spend a lot of my time fishing. Sandy had a different idea, while the ocean washed away route 12, making it only accessible via 4x4 vehicle, my family spent most of the time indoors playing pool and lounging. Leading up to the vacation, the owner was in constant communication keeping me abreast of the current status route 12. He provided info up to the day our vacation started. The house was very clean and kept in good order. Floors are all wood which helped with all the sand that was tracked in and out due to the massive amounts of sand that pilled up around the property due to the storms. Location was great, nice beach right in front of the house, and the Rodanthe fishing pier a stones throw away. I spent a couple of days hanging out with the locals and the owner of the pier which were all super nice and very accommodating. The cons are the closest large grocery store was 15 miles south but there were plenty of mom and pop stores that had everything we needed. Also, the linens were a bit dated and could have used some bleach. I'd recommend bringing down your own if you can. No bid deal. I would highly recommend this owner and location to anyone. Oh, and my family consisted of 3 daughters (age 15, 13, and 7), a one and a half year old boy, my mother, my father in-law, and my wife. Oh and a dog. Plenty of room with TV's in every room. Some beds were not slept in (bunk beds), should have brought more people.Recommended for: Families with young children, families with teenagers, pet owners, romantic getaway, sightseeing, age 55+, girls getaway.

This home was just wonderful! It was spotless and beautifully furnished. The views speak for themself. We spent hours just looking at the ocean and the pier. The home is also very spacious which allowed everyone to have some personal quiet time. The hot tub was fabulous and the pool was just warm enough for a quick swim. (a heater would be nice). The outside shower was awesome it had HOT water and was private. The gaming room was fun too. Just a beautiful home to spend your vacation at. All the rooms were large and most had private bathrooms which were very nice. I just can't say enough about this home!!!! If it is the ocean you want....this is the home for you. Cant wait to come back....I come to OBX several times a year and this home by far was one of my favorites!!!!!!! The cleaning lady is amazing.....all her personal touches did not go unnoticed!Recommended for: Families with young children, families with teenagers, people with disabilities, adventure seekers, girls getaway.

The house is beautiful. We had a great family vacation. Location couldn't be better. The Rodanthe Pier is right there so there is alot of activity (traffic). We enjoyed people watching from the decks. The house was nicely equiped. Having double washer and dryer was great! Could use some hooks in the bathrooms for hanging bathing suites and clothes or a clothes line outside. The pool area needs updates, there are no lounge chairs for sun bathing just a couple of plastic chairs to sit in. Top deck could also use more chairs to accomidate the number of people staying at the house. A nice set of chairs and a table would be great up on this deck. I would recomend this unit to families. It accomidated us well and we had 11 people in our party. The game room was fantastic for the kids. They enjoyed the pool table. The bedrooms are very roomy and nicely decorated. House was very clean. House has alot of steps (three stories so I would not recommend for older people or handicaped. Since this house was just bought and put on the rental market this season I'd say the owner has done a fine job. We would definately stay here again. Thanks for the memories!!Recommended for: Families with young children, families with teenagers, pet owners, romantic getaway, sightseeing, age 55+, girls getaway.
