This is a fun and friendly family style home that's been fully, fully furnished, so that you don't have to bring 'it all' with you! As the saying goes, 'If we go to the mountains to get away from it all, then why do we bring 'it all' with us?' Not the case when you stay at a 'Perfect Place' Retreat! Just bring your food and clothes! Everything else is already there!
'Our Mountain House' is a perfectly planned, 2,800 sq. ft., single level home that's perfect for both family living and/or party-style entertaining! With a large formal living and dining room, plus an open and spacious family room, there's plenty of room for everyone! Enjoy a cozy, romantic winter fire in the two-sided fireplace that separates the living and family rooms, or gather the friends and family around to play one of the many games from the fully stocked game closet!
The home is conveniently located just outside of historic downtown Nevada City and nicely nestled in the pines, sitting well back off the street on 4 acres with a beautiful year-round creek and walking trail that's accessible right out the back door! And, the 4 acre parcel is bordered by 100+ acre parcels, providing perfect privacy! And, not a neighbor in sight!
After a full day of exploring, or hiking, or shopping, or ???, head back 'home' and relax on either the front porch or the back patio, and gaze up at a sky full of stars, listening to a symphony of sounds, courtesy of Momma Nature!
