Waikiki Banyan 2003 Tower II is a twentieth floor unit at the Waikiki Banyan, one block from Waikiki Beach, with spectacular views of the golf course, Alawaii Canal, mountains, and part of Diamond Head.
The condo is upscale and has a custom king sized bed, a new pull out queen sized sofa bed, new carpeting, plenty of tile, a wall mounted flat screen TV, and is 12% larger than the standard unit at the Banyan (590 sq.ft. + 60 sq.ft. tiled lanai or balcony). Sliding doors separate the bedroom from the living room Because this is one of the few larger condo floor plans at the Banyan, Waikiki Banyan 2003 Tower II has a tiled entryway with a large closet on the right at one enters into the living room. A counter with four high chairs separates the kitchen from the living room.
FREE PARKING in the Waikiki Banyan's garage is included as well as FREE WIFI INTERNET service.
Calendar is up to date and now reflects the current actual occupancy in our condo. You can book right away by simply clicking the 'BOOK IT' button on your right & filling out information on the VRBO generated form. The exact price for your stay and breakdown of charges (we don't charge a 'resort' or 'amenity fee') will appear for you to approve. If price is acceptable then you proceed to write in your name, address, credit card info etc... We'll then be sent by VRBO your reservation request and have 24 hours to accept it. We only rent 3 or 4 nights if they fit snugly between two longer term bookings.

The condo has a fully equipped kitchen with pots and pans, cutlery, microwave, refrigerator, electric oven. It is air conditioned and also has two high end electric ceiling fans. There is a lanai facing the golf course and mountains with two comfortable chairs and a small table. Custom black out curtains have been installed in the bedroom to keep the morning sun out.
We provide linens, a hair dryer, iron & ironing board, beach towels. Although we do not provide beach equipment, guests leave us all kinds of beach paraphernalia including chairs available for use. We installed an enlarged deluxe bathroom with a new cast iron tub/shower, new sink, new cabinet, granite countertop, high quality Argentinean tiles in May 2012.

You are one block from the most attractive and cleanest beaches in Waikiki, two blocks to Kapiolani Park, and benefit from all the resort amenities on the sixth floor pool deck including a swimming pool, Jacuzzi, putting green, electric BBQ, saunas, showers etc... One block away at the beach is a large area you can go swimming in even when there is big surf as it is protected by a sea wall. Also the Honolulu Zoo and Aquarium are in Kapiolani Park. Across the street from the park is a fish preserve you can go snorkeling in.

The Waikiki Banyan is a fun resort ONE BLOCK from the warm sands and blue water of the world's most famous beach. Soak up the sun, stroll on ocean board walk to lighthouse at foot of Diamond Head, hike to the top of Diamond Head, swim in warm ocean (swimming area protected by sea wall), snorkel across from the Zoo in fish preserve, surf, golf in the nearby golf course, or just relax on the Waikiki Banyan's comfortable lounge chairs on recreation deck near pool or in shade. Nearby churches. The huge recreation deck on the sixth floor of the Waikiki Banyan offers a large freshwater pool, jet spa, free tennis, sauna & showers, putting green, coin operated electric barbecues, children's playground and take out/snack bar.

About: I have an MBA from UCLA in international finance and for three years was employed by Credit Suisse, Los Angeles. Subsequently, I was employed by Twentieth Century Fox Film Studios as Assistant to the Controller. I've been in all facets of the real estate business thirty years. I've been married for 30 years and have two grown sons. My wife is from Calgary, Canada, and is a registered nurse and works in cardiac rehab. She also has a Master's in Health Education from Loma Linda University. I particularly enjoy snorkeling and swimming, which I do daily. I don't particularly like driving when on vacation, so the Waikiki Banyan, being one block from the beach, and two blocks from great snorkeling with restaurants and shopping everywhere is ideal. I hold a Hawaii Broker-Salesperson Real Estate License as well with Faith Naluai LLC.
Why Waikiki Banyan: I first saw this unit in October 2011 and was impressed by its size, larger than 95% of the condos at the Waikiki Banyan. It has an entryway with a large closet to the side and it is 12% larger than normal. This makes it a more comfortable unit. What also impressed me were the panoramic green Hawaiian views. This condo faces the mountains and is quieter than ocean facing condos. You are only one block to the beach so for longer stays or if you go to the beach regularly and don't need to sit and watch the ocean but can sit and watch the Alawaii canal (river view), the golf course, the mountains, and even part of Diamond Head this is a great unit for you. I just expanded and put in a new quality bathroom. I really enjoy staying in this unit when it is available.
