Cannon Beach is the premier coastal vacation destination in the Pacific Northwest. The 'Hammond Hilton' (no connection to hotel chain...) is a quaint cottage home just a block from town and a block from the beach. This property is located in a quite residential neighborhood well equipped with all the essentials to enjoy a coastal getaway.
Its central location allow for easy walks to downtown for shopping, dinner and the local live theater.
Why Cannon Beach: The home is built throughout with original hand painted signs by Frank Hammond, a resident of Cannon Beach in 1945. He was a master gold and silver leaf artist and his craft still graces the majority of the businesses here.
Mr. Hammond was also an avid fisherman and chose Cannon Beach because of the salmon runs in Ecola Creek. It is in his honor that a percentage of the income will be given to the North Coast Land Conservancy and their committed work to the natural world here.
