I cannot say enough great things about this rental! Myself, my husband and 3 of our college friends stayed here for our first visit to Colorado, and it was perfect! The space was more than adequate for 5 people, the view is amazing, and the location is unbeatable. The garden suite was the perfect combination of serene (with the great views and the fire place in the living area) while still being accessible to the amazing city of Boulder and all of the shopping and dining establishments on Pearl Street. WHEN we visit again, we'll be sure to stay here, and if you're looking then you should stay here too!!!Recommended for: Families with young children, families with teenagers, adventure seekers, sightseeing, age 55+, tourists without a car, romantic getaway, girls getaway.

Both neighborhood lake trails and the hillside hikes are within walking distance. We walked trails in the neighborhood, bought snack in Whole Foods nearby, and visited Pearl Street Mall 3 miles away. The residence is well organized and comfortable. We enjoyed the view from the patio/backyard(s), sipping coffee in the morning or watching sunset in the evening. The living room has entertainment systems and a fireplace. I would recommend this as a base to explore Colorado parks. The Sauna, grills with the view, washer/drier, and nightlife would make it nice evening after a day outdoors.Recommended for: Families with young children, adventure seekers, sightseeing, age 55+, romantic getaway.

Great option for a stay in Boulder. Mark was extremely accommodating and fullfilled all of our requests. The home is a two family house with our accomodations located on the bottom floor which was accesible via a stone path through the front yard and down the side of the house. The back yard is perfect for eating outside or just relaxing, there are plenty of tables and chairs outside for your use with an amazing view. The living area is very roomy with a large couch, large screen tv and plenty of seating. The kitchen has all you need to prepare small meals and store food and drinks in the refrigerator. The bedrooms were comfortable with lots of closet space, hangers, shelves etc. The neighborhood is very nice with plenty of on street parking. You can easily walk to running and hiking trails. Vic's coffee is only a couple of minutes away and it's a very easy drive to the university area and Pearl Street. I recommend it!Recommended for: Adventure seekers, sightseeing, age 55+, romantic getaway, girls getaway.

Nice basement apartment. Beautiful views. Lots of private, outdoor space. The owner is very responsive to inquiries and gave us some restaurant suggestions, including the farmers market on Saturdays. It is a bit of a drive to the main part of town (e.g. 15 minutes), but parking is plentiful downrown, so it wasn't a big deal.Recommended for: Families with teenagers, adventure seekers, sightseeing, age 55+, romantic getaway, girls getaway.

We stayed here because we were looking for a place in Boulder that would allow us to have the option of leisurely days as well as enjoy the outdoors. It was a great fit. The listing was accurate, and the owner was very responsive in answering questions and providing local recommendations. He even moved a couch before we arrived based on our request on sleeping accommodations. The view was excellent and better than any other place we looked at. We walked to hiking trails and went down to the local rec center for free disc golf. Some deer even came into the backyard next door. Wifi, satellite TV, and amenities were all great. Kitchen is small but functional. I wouldn't recommend it for cooking large group meals, but for our needs (breakfasts/snacks, reheating leftovers, and ordering in) it was perfect. Overall: the location, owner, and views make this an outstanding option for staying in Boulder.Recommended for: Families with young children, pet owners, families with teenagers, adventure seekers, sightseeing, age 55+, romantic getaway.
