Paris' Best! Le Vaneau Apartment sits squarely in the center of the 3 of the most Chic, Quaint and sought after neighborhoods in all of Paris : The Latin Quarter --Rue du Cherche-Midi, St Germain, St Sulpice, Luxembourg, Sorbonne/The 7th--Les Invalides, Champs des Mars, Eiffel Tower, Seine/ and finally Montparmasse--Artists Studios, Cinema and Restaurants.
This light and spacious 1 bedroom, is central and just 2 minutes from the entrance to 2 Metro stops--Vaneau and Duroc, and a 10 minute walk from the convenient, main Rail & Metro station of Montparnasse. It's almost on the corner of Rue du Sevres, having the chicissime Bon Marché just up the street, with it's clothing, home decor and spectacular gourmet food store.
Le Vaneau is also a peaceful refuge, set back, off the street, looking over a courtyard with trees and flowers, so quiet the
3 large, double windows on the courtyard side can be left open day and night.
The apartment is one, short flight up, and features a foyer, a bedroom with Queen sized bed, an immense living/dining room, and fully equipped kitchen--washer, dishwasher, oven microwave, large sliding window and bar counter and 3 stools for a quick café creme and croissant before heading out for the day. There's a double sized sofa bed, and full sized dining table for long, mulch-coursed meals with family and friends.
The well lit bathroom/toilet is huge, by Paris' standards, large enough for a bathtub separate shower, isolated WC. It also has large window that can be left open day and night, bringing the total of windows to 5.
Le Vaneau has recently been completed remolded and modernized--equipped with WiFi, cable TV and has Free long-distance phone calls--but still has quaint, Parisian details and charm!

I recently stayed here for just over 2 weeks, and I loved it! The pretty apartment and vibrant neighborhood are exactly as advertised - even more so! In addition to being smack in the middle of everything Paris has to offer, there are grocery stores, boulangeries, cafes, and more - less than a block away. The apartment was immaculate and comfortable (even the pullout sofa bed!) - the pictures can't really do it justice. The managers are super efficient and helpful, everything went along seamlessly. I cannot recommend this apartment highly enough. I will definitely be back.Recommended for: Sightseeing, tourists without a car, girls getaway, families with young children, adventure seekers, romantic getaway, age 55+, families with teenagers.
