Adorable and affordable, this home is located on a quaint street in the Gardens section of Ocean City. The eat-in kitchen was updated in 2012. There is one bedroom with a queen-sized bed and a second bedroom with one set of bunk beds plus a single bed. The living room has a queen-sized sofa bed purchased in 2012.
You can store your bikes and beach gear in the detached garage. Grill some burgers on the charcoal grill and eat in the private back yard with a table for six.
After your day of fun in the sun, relax on the screened-in front porch in the shade of the awnings or take a short stroll to watch the sunset at the nearby North Point Lagoon.
This is a great neighborhood for biking and walking and is a short walk to the Gardens beaches. There is also ample metered parking available at the beautiful Surf Road Beach.
Maximum of six people, please. Minimum rental period from Memorial Day to Labor Day is one week.
Two beach chairs and four seasonal beach tags will be provided. Internet will also be provided.

My 83 year old Mom and I stayed in this charming bungalow for a few days in mid-July before being joined by my husband and son. We all had a wonderful time. This lovely neighborhood in the Gardens is as described, quiet and peaceful with well-kept homes. In mid-summer there was very little traffic on the street except for the occasional person walking a dog or riding a bike. My mom has limited mobility, so the bungalow worked well for her with only a few steps leading into the home. The inside was very clean and appeared to be newly renovated. The living room furniture was new, the overstuffed sofa and chair comfy and the flat screen tv nice. The kitchen had all the amenities we needed including nice glassware and dishes, pots and pans, etc. (even take-out menus!) The master bedroom was spacious, bright, and airy; the bunks in the 2nd bedroom worked for us and would be perfect for a family. We also used the pullout sofa and it wasn't too bad. The sun porch on the front of the house was perhaps our favorite place to sit and read, play cards, build puzzles, and eat our meals. The awning provides the right amount of privacy and shade. We LOVED the porch! The bathroom was good and had a tub, but there is also an enclosed outdoor shower which we loved to use. It's these little extras that made the bungalow so perfect- there's a backyard with a clothesline to hang beach towels and wet bathing suits; a long driveway for off-street parking; a garage where you can safely store bikes; and there's a laundry room complete with a washer and dryer. This was a perfect biking neighborhood and I would recommend bringing bikes or getting a weekly rental. The bungalow isn't too far from the beach, and I would have biked there, but since my Mom was with me we drove everyday to the 4th Street Beach which was quick and easy to do. We would definitely recommend this property. The owners were very nice, helpful, and responsive and the bungalow is a true gem!Recommended for: People with disabilities, age 55+, families with teenagers, sightseeing.

About the owner: We have always spent our summers in Ocean CIty and think it's a great place to vacation and create lasting memories with friends and family.
Why the Owner Chose Private Homes, Gardens:
I grew up as a year-round resident of the Ocean CIty Gardens and think it is the nicest part of the city with winding streets, lots of trees and lovely homes and gardens.
The Unique Benefits at this Bungalow:
We both enjoy vintage homes and this circa 1940 house has tons of charm. The front porch with the awnings is very inviting - a great place to relax with a tall glass of lemonade and a good book. Most of the other homes on the street have tidy lawns and gardens and front porches as well. This is a neighborhood of single-family homes and most are owner occupied so it is a peaceful getaway.
