This condo and the surrounding area lived up to all expectations. The condo was so clean and comfortable with amazing views from the deck. The whole community is beautifully maintained. and had a friendly, safe, welcoming feel. We loved the Tucson area, so much to do and all the attractions are with in easy driving distance. The managers were so helpful and very accessible. An excellent place for short or long stay.

We had a great time in Tucson and loved the condo! There were so many nice "touches" that you don't find everywhere. It is clean, bright, and exceptionally well stocked. The local managers are friendly, welcoming, and instantly resolved an Internet issue. The property is a few blocks from Sabino Canyon Park, a 5 min drive to an assortment of nice restaurants in all price points, and we enjoyed being on the route of the Tour de Tucson. We would recommend this property.

About the owner: We are from northern Ontario, Canada. We were looking for a condo for when we retire. My husband is a cycling fanatic and we both love to hike. We weren`t prepared to fall in love with Tucson like we did. It is so spectacular with mountains all around. It's a bird-watchers paradise. There are hiking and biking trails and paths everywhere. It's a clean, safe and friendly city. Our rental had such wonderful views; was so quiet and clean plus the condo complex was gated. We were so impressed that we approached the VRBO owner to see if she would sell her condo-which she did!!! Lucky us! As of June 2012, we became the new owners!!!
Why the Owner Chose Catalina Foothills:
It was our first visit to Tucson but we were so overcome with how 'right' it felt. The condo is gated and we were impressed with the Ventana Vista condo association and friendly and safe neighbourhood. Biking/cycling/hiking/walking trails are everywhere. You could enjoy a new one every day of the year. A bonus is Udall park where we can swim outside in the Olympic size pool as we love water sports. Although we don't golf, we understand that the golfing is super here. While we are not there, we are renting it out to others who might enjoy some relaxing times, some exhilarating exercise in or near the mountains, or the activities of the city of Tucson. On another note, the past owner enjoyed affordable theater, opera, and concerts, as well as eating out and window-shopping at the upscale outdoor center, La Encantada.
The Unique Benefits at this Condo:
safe, gated community // /quiet, relaxing second floor condo set in the rear of the complex with no one above /// bright living area due to windows in cathedral ceiling /// wonderful mountain views especially at sunrise and sunset /// nothing better than to have coffee in the a.m. or have a drink in the p.m. on the balcony looking out at the mountains /// resort-like amenities and grounds /// close to hiking, biking, tennis, golf and so many other activities involving sports or culture (just google the Tucson area and see all you can do) /// quality furnishings and appliances /// restaurants, groceries and pharmacy are within a 10 min walk or 5 min drive /// the airport is an approximate 35 minute drive away /// one can't miss going to the Desert Museum on the other side of Tucson! Wow! /// B&B style notebook of instructions, maps and references for museums, hiking trails, etc... /// AND THE WONDERFUL SUNNY WEATHER OF TUCSON!!!
