This great log cabin sits on 3.3 acres on the Conejos River 25 miles North of Chama, New Mexico. 900 feet of river frontage awaits the fisherman in us all. Bring the whole family and enjoy the oversized kitchen, dining room, living room with views to the river and Monkey Face mountain. Large windows in upstairs porch are a great reading or catching that well deserved nap. Downstairs game room with ping pong table is just steps away from the screened porch. Grill that trout that didn't get away and enjoy the sound of the river and ducks swimming along. Ponderosa Pines and Aspen whisper in the mountain breeze and remind you to take your time and enjoy the night with more stars than you've ever seen.

This was the perfect cabin in the perfect location in cool Southern Colorado. It is right on the river and has wonderful views of the river and the mountain. We had a wonderful time in this well-furnished and beautiful cabin. It was perfect for our group (10 people) and had all the amenities you could want. It is in such a beautiful part of Colorado and the weather was perfect for a respite from the hot Texas weather. The days were pleasantly cool and the nights were perfect for a respite from the heat. We have gone to this part of Colorado for more than 40 years and have finally found the perfect spot! The owners were so easy to work with and the price is very reasonable for such a great location and large cabin. We didn't want to leave and we will definitely return!Recommended for: Families with teenagers, sightseeing, age 55+, families with young children, adventure seekers.
Owner response: Thanks Bonnie!!!! Please come back any time! Kelly

Owner info
Year Purchased: 2004
About the owner: This log cabin was built with love and care. Our Dad was a contractor in Albuquerque and a perfectionist! We started in 1980 and took almost twenty years to add the final touches. It is an ongoing project to keep it to his standards. Dad designed it and Mom improved it. Very unique with not so square rooms, make it a real one of a kind.
Why the Owner Chose Antonito:
This is the third cabin our family built over the years. Colorado and Conejos Valley are a very special place. There were five original families who bought a homestead and divided it up. We are the only ones on the highway side of the river. No neighbors and amazing views of the valley.
The Unique Benefits at this Cabin:
The property is shaped in a triangle maximizing on river frontage. 900 feet of it. The cabin is situated on the left corner of the lot. The river frontage goes up river to the large bend. The views are unobstructed and breath taking.
