Nestled in the quiet town of Olhos d'Agua, in the Albufeira district, this 2 bedroom apartment in the private complex of Bosque de São José, about a 10 minute walk from the Olhos d'Agua beach. The apartment has been professionally decorated and beautifully furnished for you and your family to enjoy the comforts of home during your holiday getaway.
The suite has two beautiful bedrooms to comfortable sleep 5. The master bedroom has a queen-sized bed and the second bedroom has 2 twin sized bed. Both rooms have plenty of storage and are tastefully decorated. The master has an ensuite bathroom and there is an additional bathroom accessible through the main hallway.
A fully stocked and fully equipped kitchen includes a fridge, freezer, oven, stove and diswasher. In the main foyer is a washer and dryer. The living area has a comfortable couch that can sleep an additional person and the dining table expands to seat 6 comfortably. A large flat screen TV and DVD player, along with free TV service provide plenty of indoor activity.
The beautifully furnished balcony helps make the most of the sun. It's a nice place to read a bedtime story or to enjoy a nice cold beverage after a long day on the golf course or at the beach!
The complex itself has a large swimming pool for adults and another for children and provides parking for guests of this apartment. On the grounds is a small wooded area with benches, charcoal grill, picnic tables and a small serene pond. The complex is a secure gated area.
The Olhos d'Agua supermarket is only 100 metres away, making holiday shopping convenient.

We are a family of four (kids 11 and 15) who rented this condo for about 3 weeks in July/August 2012. The owner was very easy to deal with and quick to address any concerns we had. Which were minor. The condo was fantastic with a full kitchen and two bedrooms. Our girls had their own beds. The layout was functional and we used the balcony all the time. The pool area was very nice and not too busy in the day as most people were at the beach. We alternated beach and pool days. I would recommend a car to get around and you will be able to experience more. However, the grocery store is at the end of the short road and the beach, shops and restaurants were all an easy walk. My only surprise was the area itself. Based on the location description of a "quiet town" I thought I was going to experience something a little quieter and more authentic to the culture. This location is right in the heart of the tourist area. However, we found Falesia Beach, a 5 minute drive away and discovered it to be much quieter, if you didn't park yourself at the bottom of the stairs. Best beach area we could find. Lagos was a day trip but stunningly beauiful. We did a short trip with a fisherman to go through the grottos and caves. Having an condo like this to call home really helped to feel like we were living in Portugal, even if only for a short while. In fact, we left the condo in midst of our trip and spent 2 days doing Tarifa with a ferry trip to Morocco and a visit to Gibraltar. Well worth a visit. The condo was ideal and it felt very safe to walk about day or night. As sad as we were to leave, we know we will be back in future. Great trip and this condo was a big part of that. About the owner: I own a property management company in Toronto, Canada that specializes in executive furnished rentals. With a Portuguese background, I am now looking at vacation rentals in Portugal and want to apply the same executive standards to holiday rentals that I apply here in Canada.
Why the Owner Chose Albufeira:
I have always loved the Algarve, especially the quiet town of Olhos De Agua. Now that I have a family, I prefer quiet over the hustle and bustle of Albufeira and Vilamoura. However, if I do want a taste of some nightlife, it's nice to know that Albufeira and Vilamoura are only a 10 minute drive away.
The Unique Benefits at this Apartment:
Since this property is both a vacation and investment property for me, it was very important to me that the place was secure. It is a gated community and the apartment is not on the ground floor - it's always nice to not be at ground level. The children's pool was especially important for me during the 'early swimming years' and the transition to the adult pool is also nice too. My favorite feature: the common BBQ area - it's always nice to meet new people. It's especially easy to meet new friends over food.
