The convenience of having your family stay in our single-family home will add to the relaxation of your vacation. Whether you choose to eat at home or out, the fully equipped kitchen will make you comfortable. The master bedroom on the main floor has a queen-size bed, while each of the two bedrooms upstairs has 2 twin beds. Plus there is a pull out sofa in the living room with a full size mattress! Enjoy quiet time in the loft, or a game of ping-pong or foosball in the basement. The house has two full bathrooms, and all your plush towels and soft cotton linens are supplied.
Your next vacation home is just minutes from Shawnee Place, Shawnee Mountain Ski Area, Bushkill Falls, and Delaware River swimming areas and beaches. Other local attractions include Camelback Ski Area, Delaware Water Gap, canoeing, whitewater rafting, The Crossings Factory Stores, as well as many other unique shopping experiences. Come to golf at one of the many courses in the area including Shawnee Golf Resort and Fernwood Golf Resort. Hike all day and enjoy nature at Bushkill Falls or one of the many state and federal parks nearby.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay; the house was large and spacious and easily accommodated our 2 families (4 adults, 2 kids). The screened-in porch lured us away from the large dining room table for virtually every meal, where we could watch the deer browsing nearby. While there was no air conditioning, the July mountain nights were cool enough to use blankets! The property was clean and well-kept, the kitchen well-equipped, and the owners were accommodating and accessible by phone (though it was tough to get cell phone service on the property). The kids liked the game tables down stairs, and the games in the cabinet kept us from ever even trying the Direct TV! While the photo makes the cabin look remote, it is in an easily accessible neighborhood with amenities (several pools, gym, play ground, & restaurant), and is within a short drive to good restaurants, parks, trails, waterfalls, living history farms, and other natural attractions. We'd recommend both the area and the cabin to anyone who wants to "get away" and enjoy some quiet time or exploring a really beautiful area.

Thank you, we had great time! Shawnee mountain is just around the corner and younger kids appreciated skiing and sledging onsite within walking distance. Very nice and spacious house, great amenities. Wonderful nature, must be great at any season.

Thank you for a comfortable and beautiful house. It was located in a scenic and very quiet area that offered a lot of attractions nearby . We left very content and relaxed with the hope of returning for an other stay.

We all had a great time! Your house is so cute! It's in a perfect location. We walked to the Top of The World pool 3 days. We went to Bushkill Falls Tuesday. We went to the Quarry Mon.night. We took the kids to the Pocono Animal Farm on Friday. Everyone enjoyed all the wildlife right in your yard. There were many deer,turkeys,raccoons and we saw a black squirrel and a woodpecker. My neice's 2 little ones especially loved feeding the deer. My daughter, Bridget, had one deer that would come everyday. We named her Blue because she would let Bridget feed right from her hand and she would put her nose in the blue plastic cup filled with popcorn kernels. The view over there is spectacular! Our whole family loved it! Thank you so much for a great week! It was a nice change from going down the shore.

We had the joy of celebrating July 4th, 2004 in this wonderful chateau with family members and had a ball! Our stay included feeding the animals at a local petting zoo, hiking the trails around Bushkill Falls, swimming in the pool up the hill, watching the fireworks at Fernwood and relaxing on the deck enjoying the spectacular view as deer stroll through the yard without a care in the world. Simply breathtaking! We highly recommend staying in this fabulous home while enjoying the Poconos!

What a GREAT vacation home and a beautiful area. Our family went mountain biking, canoeing, horseback riding, and fishing. At the end of the day we relaxed by the outdoor pool or kicked back on the deck. It was peaceful and quiet up there--just what we were looking for! We will highly recommend your house to anyone interested in a Poconos vacation.
