Villa La Estancia has the only privately-owned condominiums on the fabulous Medano Beach of Cabo San Lucas, and operates as a five-star resort. Each of the condos is owned by an individual or group of homeowners who take pride in their property. Our condo, number 1202, is the closest two bedroom condo to the beach! Even other owners admire our location and view, as our terrace looks out at Land's End and directly down at the action at the pool. Medano Beach is wonderful for swimming and sunning and many other activities such as parasailing and snorkeling, but you will be tempted to stop at one of the two gorgeous pools or five hot tubs on the site. Or, you might choose to go into the executive fitness center for a workout or the spa for a jacuzzi, steambath, or sauna. Or you can just hang out at the pool's swim up bar and restaurant and let yourself be pampered by the friendly, expert personnel.
World famous golf and sportfishing are at your fingertips, or you can rent ATVs and tour the desert area at the tip of the peninsula. Take a day trip to some of the fascinating towns of southern Baja California, or you can simply walk or take a short bus or taxi ride into Cabo San Lucas itself. Shop for Mexican jewelry, metalwork, and pottery, then enjoy your dinner at one of the town's countless excellent restaurants. Have a cocktail at the bustling marina, and watch the boats of the fishing fleet return from their day at sea. Be sure to stay in town long enough to sample the exciting night life - you will have all day tomorrow to snooze at the pool!
The condo is spacious and elegant, with 2000 plus square feet of living space. It is a complete luxury residence, with marble floors throughout. You will spend a good deal of time on the large terrace which looks down on the main pool and gazes out at Land's End, the very tip of the Baja peninsula. The terrace has ceiling fans, a wet bar, a refrigerator, and a gas grill in case you are in the mood to cook.
The condo has a full kitchen (updated with granite countertops, stainless steel appliances) and dining room, breakfast bar, and living room. The master bedroom has a king-size bed and a sitting area, and the master bath has jacuzzi tub, shower, and double sinks. The second bedroom has a bathroom and two queen-size beds. The couch in the comfortable living room pulls out into a queen-size bed, so the condo holds eight with ease. Adjoining the living room is a third full bathroom with shower. There are cable TVs and ceiling fans in every room, as well as a VCR and stereo in the living room.
The expert and courteous concierge staff are dedicated to making your stay a total vacation. They will take care of all the details that you want to get away from on vacation, from check-in to check-out. They will arrange transportation, restaurant reservations, and give expert advice on the activities in the area. If you are in a mood to cook, you can purchase groceries at the onsite grocery. Also available there are pharmacy items, jewelry and clothing, movie rentals, and even a delicatessen. If you just want to loaf, there is a fine restaurant on site, which also offers room service.

Villa La Estancia has the only privately-owned condominiums on Medano Beach (Cabo's swimming beach). The resort is beautifully built, and in a great location within walking distance of Cabo San Lucas. And the staff treats guests wonderfully!

We three owners particularly enjoy having villa 1202, which we (and many fellow owners!) consider the best 2BR villa in the resort. Its location is superb, with its view of Lands End and being directly above the main pool. You are sure to have a good time in 1202.

Very nice property, and excellent location right on the beach and close to town. The condo offered a very comfortable living arrangement for our family of four-2 bedrooms, living area and a spacious balcony. About a 2 minute walk to the beach from the door of the condo, and the beach is one of the nicest in all of Cabo. The only negative is there is a bit of a land grab for chairs by the pool early each morning, but we are more of a beach family anyway.
Recommended for:Families with young children, families with teenagers, tourists without a car.

The pictures hardly do justice! This is a luxurious condominum ideally situated on Medano Beach and within walking distance (beach or streets) to dining/shopping/marina venues. Our family of 5 had plenty of space. The expansive veranda, where we spent much of our time, provides an excellent perch overlooking the pool and it is close enough to see and hear the ocean. The staff was helpful and courteous, and the concierge made several reservations for us. The grounds are beautiful as one might expect. The fitness center is excellent (and close by) and the Spa is adequate, or better. The owners have been a pleasure to deal with and very helpful. Highly recommended!
Recommended for:Adventure seekers, girls getaway, sightseeing, families with young children, romantic getaway, age 55+, families with teenagers, tourists without a car.

What a fantastic trip! We loved the villa and the location was perfect – very close to the pool and the beach. The staff at the Estancia is great: extremely helpful, accommodating and friendly. We enjoyed ourselves so much that we extended our trip and would have stayed even longer had the villa been available!! Everything written by former guests is absolutely true. The unit has a superb location with spectacular views close to the beach and overlooking a gorgeous pool. This is our first visit to Cabo and I certainly made the right choice in selecting this resort but especially this condo. The information sheet provided was our "bible". We followed it in every respect and as a result had a fantastic vacation. We will return to Cabo and would rent this unit again.

Our family has stayed at Villa La Estancia three times in the past and we have thoroughly enjoyed each vacation. This year in particular we were very happy with villa 1202 - the location is great with close proximity to the pool as well as stunning views of the ocean. The villa itself is updated throughout and nicely appointed. The owners were very responsive during the booking process and their 5 page overview of information and recommendations about La Estancia and Cabo was helpful. We would definitely book this villa again!
