We had the most wonderful stay in this beautiful home from home. Fully equipped kitchen, 4 full bedrooms, lots of linen and closet space, comfy furniture, beautiful patio and views. Birds abound. Two bedrooms downstairs with bathroom, two upstairs with bathroom. Large lounge, fabulous fireplace and open plan kitchen. Close enough to the village with restaurants and shops but tucked away in mountain surrounded by trees and lovely view of lake in distance. Cant wait to go backRecommended for: Age 55+, families with teenagers, families with young children.

My boyfriend and I stayed at this cabin in January 2013 for a little weekend get-away after the craziness of the holiday season. We arrived to an immaculately clean home, the view is awesome (you can see the lake), and the home is quite large. This would be a great place to come with a family and kids as there are two rooms downstairs with a game/tv room as well. We walked to town which was quite far and there are no cabs in the area so we had to walk back as well (7.5 miles round trip), but it was nice to enjoy the fresh air. We also ordered delivery from a little Italian place that the home owners left a menu for. Dinner arrived in an hour and the food was great! The best part was how easily we were able to get a hold of the home owners with questions. I would most definitely recommend this home to my family and friends / anyone looking for a nice, clean, awesome place to stay in Arrowhead.Recommended for: Families with teenagers, adventure seekers, romantic getaway, families with young children, sightseeing.

We had never rented this way before and had a hard time choosing based on photos and descriptions only. We thought this was a great value for the location and amenities listed and boy were we right! My wife and I wanted to thank you and your family for a wonderful weekend. You have such a beautiful home and what a perfect location. We could tell that you put so much thought into every aspect of this amazing home. The décor and amenities where perfect we could not imagine having a better time anywhere else. Thanks for the opportunity to enjoy such a wonderful experience. The deck, with its views of the trees and the lake was our favorite spot.Recommended for: Romantic getaway, families with young children, sightseeing.

To say that this house is perfect is an understatement. The personal touches go above and beyond. And we stay in a million homes all over the world, being in the travel industry. Examples: L'Occitane travel luxuries if you'd forgotten your lotion or bath gel. Want to read at night and not disturb your spouse? There's a book light for you in the bedside drawer. Like candle light at nigh? There are hanging sconces outside and two more for the table in the cupboard under the coffee maker. I could go on and on and on. My kids absolutely loved it too! The video selection was amazing and even more impressive was the game selection. We played rounds and rounds of yahtzee, monopoly, cards, chess, ping-pong and go fish! :-) Better yet, the boys assembled every puzzle in the house! BOYS? PUZZLES? Not video games? YES! AND-- there were about 10 awesome puzzles in the selection with everything for a 4yr old to 52 year old aviator! We loved this house so much, we've already been TWICE! And-- are looking forward to winter to re-book to check it all out during snow season. This was my note to the owner, "Just want to tell you how as a mom, and homeowner, I appreciate your attention to detail with accommodations and necessities. Having tablecloths and candles for outside and whisks for making pudding as well as beach card access and ping pong-- I could just go on and on! It was so enjoyable! And PERFECT for us!!! Pearl, our bichon frise loved it too! We are ready to move in! " The true best part is not only the lake access or home itself, it was the luxury of texting the homeowners if a problem happened (and no matter what house you rent, there's always something that pops up). To get immediate responses is just unheard of. Usually, you have to call a rental company, get an answering machine, wait a day to talk to someone, wait a day to have an appliance delivered or fixed, yadda yadda yadda-- NOT IN THIS HOUSE! One text and you're on your way to solving your issue. Almost instantly. Brilliant, I tell you! Needless to say, if you want a cozy stay that can accommodate yourselves and children and keep them as occupied and happy as you are with the warm surroundings, beautiful lake view, surrounded by the heavenly Lake Arrowhead forest-- don't hesitate to book this house. Your search ends here.Recommended for: Age 55+, families with teenagers, adventure seekers, romantic getaway, pet owners, families with young children, girls getaway, sightseeing.

Loved the place and loved the view from the large deck on upper floor. A little too much sun in the morning, but great when shade covered deck in afternoon. Tavern Bay Beach Club was only a few minutes away and the kids loved going there to swim in the afternoon. Lake Gregory was nearby and had a great water park with 2 large water slides. We really like the kids downstairs bedroom. We have 4 granddaughters ages 4-9 and they all were able to sleep together in same room. The kitchen was very well stocked (better than many other places we have stayed). There were a few glitches. The dryer wasn't operating properly when we arrived, but was finally replaced so we could wash some clothes before we left. We were there 10 days and the weather was great the first 5 days, but serious heat wave hit Southern Cal the last 5 days and house was pretty warm in afternoon with no AC. would recommend this property to friends and will probably stay there next year if available.Recommended for: Age 55+, families with young children, sightseeing.
