Sea breezes, blue skies and cozy accommodations will greet you as you check into this 4 bedroom, 2 bath island home, fully equipped for your weeklong or extended stay. First level has a comfortable light and bright living room with satellite TV, dining area and sliding doors that lead to either front or back outdoor space. Step on to the front deck where you can sit and sip your morning coffee or afternoon beverage as you watch your fellow islanders stroll by. Through the rear doors you will find a private dining patio with barbecue and seating for the whole group. The kitchen is fully equipped with everything you need to cook at home, including a pass through window counter out to the patio table. Downstairs there is also one bedroom with two twin beds, another bedroom with a double futon perfect for the youngsters, and a full bath. Upstairs are two additional bedrooms each with 2 twin beds. A full bath is shared in the hallway, and a balcony patio is adjacent to the back bedroom. Parking is available for one car in the attached garage, and additional parking can be found on the street in front. In addition to the family room, TVs are found in the upstairs bedroom and the futon room, a perfect spot for the kids to hook up video games they bring along. This home is ideal for families or friends looking for a place to getaway and gather. Downtown Balboa Island is a short stroll away with its quaint restaurants and lovely shopping boutiques, not to mention Balboa Bars - yum! The bay beaches are also a quick walk down the street, and the Balboa Pier and ocean waves are just a ferry ride away. There is nothing better than a leisurely walk around the island with views and vistas of the Balboa Pavilion, sparkling waters and boats of all description. Come enjoy our island home and all it has to offer!

The beach house was awesome! It felt like a balboa island beach house. The upstairs was great for my wife and I away from some of the kids. The kids had their own little area. We rented bikes and used the garage to park the bikes. The house had everything we needed. The courtyard was bright and big with a great bbq that uses Kingsford coals. The house was located in the center of the island. it was convenient and quiet. It is about halfway between Marine Ave (Main Street) and Agate (The ferry street). Also, Diamond is next to Ruby which has the best and biggest beach on the island. The price was fair. We will stay there next time we go to Balboa.Recommended for: Tourists without a car, age 55+, families with teenagers, girls getaway, sightseeing, families with young children, romantic getaway.

Our family felt so lucky to find this property on Balboa Island. Cindy and Mike were very welcoming and helpful during our stay. The home was spacious, with 4 bedrooms one of which we made into an office overlooking a nice sized interior court yard. It's one of the few rental homes that has an inside court yard. It has a very beachy feel and we spent many hours sitting out on the front porch enjoying the afternoon sun. The mid-island location makes it an easy walk to the waterfront, the ferry or to the shops and restaurants on Marine Ave. We highly recommend this rental, and hope we can come back again soon!Recommended for: Families with teenagers, girls getaway, sightseeing, families with young children.
