  I took my wife and daughter here for my wife's birthday and we all were very, very satisfied. The first thing my 3 year old says when we wallk in is, "You did good daddy!". And everytime we left the condo she would ask when are we going back to the beach house so she could play. We can't wait to stay again but hopefully for longer. This was my first time staying in Newport and this condo was not only perfect but it was also in the perfect spot. Close to shops, restaraunts and a short drive to the outlets. This is absolutely the place to stay when you go to Newport.

  We celebrated our 27th anniversary at Sands Lookout at Nye Beach. The location is within walking distance to many little shops and restaurants. This lovely condo is well stocked with everything you would ever need. It is clean and cozy. We ate at the Sandbar & Grill. Their food was excellent and very reasonably priced. We also enjoyed the Nye Beach Market Cafe with similar results. If you are craving a treat the NW Beach Sweets shop will accommodate you. These are all located right at Nye Beach. There are a number of fun shops close by. The access to the beach is just a few hundred feet away. There are several miles of beach to take delight in - jogging, beach combing, kite flying, sand castle building, or what ever you enjoy doing. This location also has many added attractions in the area: The Aquarium, Marine Science Center, multiple shops, restaurants, lighthouses, and much, much more. You won't be disappointed if you stay here.

  My husband and I stayed here for a weekend, but it would be a great place for a week or two. the condo is fully equipped and sparkling clean, bed is comfy and you can't beat the location at Nye Beach. Park your car and walk to great restaurants, shops and, of course, the beach.

  Recommended for: Age 55+, romantic getaway, sightseeing.

  Owner response: The close proximity to lots of great eating places nearby within walking distance is why we feel our place is so desireable. We also try to make it as handy for you to cook in-house as possible too, whichever you desire to do. We're glad you enjoyed it.

  Can't beat this condo for it's view and close proximity to Nye Beach, and all the little stores. The owner is also friendly, and easy to work with.

  Recommended for: Age 55+, tourists without a car, romantic getaway, families with teenagers, girls getaway.

  The view is wonderful, the condo is very spacious, with a very open feeling. The doorways are wide, and the kitchen is open to the main room with a large breakfast bar dividing the two rooms. You see the view of the ocean from the kitchen so you do not miss the view when making meals. The main bathroom has a low step in shower for those who have trouble stepping into a bathtub which I have not found in other places. The condo is located near a wide choice of small shops, cafes' and a grocery store all are just a short walk away. I will be a returning guest here.

  Owner response: Thank you, we do plan to get a picture of the 2nd shower in our web site as soon as possible. That was our oversight. The low entrance into the shower makes it much more handicapped accessible.

  I wouldn't stay anyplace else except here. It was perfect the last time and is just as enjoyable again this time. Even with the weather overcast and cool, we enjoyed watching the waves from inside - all warm and cozy. The Chowder Bowl is just the most perfect place to eat. Thank you for a lovely place to stay. I see a new DVD player has been added. Enjoyed the remote control this time.

  Hi we came for 6 nights, very nice stay at your condo. Watching the waves roll in as you are eating is great! Your kitchen is well equipped with everything. 2 minute walk to beach & Historic Nye Beach. walking distance to everything including Bay Front, all the neat stores & shops.Would recommend even for four people as 2 full bathrooms & sofa bed in living room.   We often go out to Newport for a break from our city lives. This condo was the best located and the best furnished of all we have stayed. The furniture was comfortable, the kitchen was very well stocked. There were more than sufficient towels, etc, the lighting was good. Getting onto the beach was very easy from the condo. We ate at Saffron Salmon and Panache. The view was as promised and we even saw a bit of a sunset which is special in December. We returned to the city very refreshed.

  Beautiful view, no matter the weather, greets each day! Great location for Nye Beach area, and, if a walker, can comfortably walk to shops on hwy 101. So much to see and do in the Newport area, some which require driving. Beach walking and tide pool exploration near Yaquina lighthouse are favorites as well as the Oregon Coast Aquarium and Hatfield Center in the Bay area. Owners shared their hospitality in small ways that said "Welcome" from the first step into the condo. Well equipped kitchen made meal prep easy to do. Wi-fi access was easy. Definitely will try to rent when I next visit Newport.

  Great views up and down the coast. East access to the beach with a road right next to the building. Great beach walks - more than two miles in both directions. Great restaurants and shopping nearby. The condo is nicely appointed with a very nice kitchen and covered deck. It is ideal for two people, bu might be crowded for more than that. We would go back.
