This spacious one bedroom apartment (1,002 sq ft) is in an historic building and offers luxurious fittings and contemporary comfort. It's just steps away from the lovely Bordeaux Public Gardens.
On nearby Rue Fondaudege there are hundreds of shops and restaurants and it is a short walk to the heart of Bordeaux - the Grand Theatre and Place Quinconces.
There is easy access to Bordeaux City Gardens apartment, as it is on ground floor level.
The large living and dining rooms are ideal for entertaining guests and al fresco breakfast and dining is also possible in the private courtyard.
Fittings are high quality, including a Loewe TV in living room; a mounted flat screen TV in bedroom and a portable Ipod/iphone/ipad dock for music in living/dining or bedroom.
The kitchen contains a multitude of appliances, such as a built-in espresso and cappuccino maker.
There is both a bath and a hand-held shower, as well as a tropical rain shower.
The toilet is separate, in the corridor between the entrance hall and the main bedroom. There is also a laundry with a washing machine and dryer.
All linen is supplied and Wifi is free of charge. Cleaning during your stay is an optional extra.

My husband & I visited Bordeaux for the first time and are SO thankful to have found Suzanna's apartment through VRBO; we could not have imagined a more perfect base to explore this beautiful city.The apartment looked exactly like the VRBO photos and was accurately portrayed in the description. It is more like a luxury home than an apartment and we felt totally spoiled while staying here . The apartment simply took our breath away (massive rooms with grand, towering ceilings, state-of-the-art kitchen, cafe-quality coffees in our private courtyard, whisper quiet bedroom). We LOVED the location- only steps away from the beautiful Bordeaux gardens, close to everything in the historic part OF Bordeax', 5 mins walk from the tram stop (we caught the tram to the train station to catch our TGV to Paris). Thankyou so much to Suzanna for your promptness and helpfulness in arranging our stay and a very big thankyou to Charlotte who was very welcoming and extremely helpful in orienting us to both the apartment and the area (and, also, made herself available throughout our stay if we'd any questions).Recommended for: Romantic getaway, tourists without a car.

Why Bordeaux:
This is a comfortable and luxurious property in a terrific location. The mix of old architectural details and contemporary finishes is appealing. The location is also excellent, with the Public Gardens down the street and close to the center of town, with plenty of shops and restaurants nearby.
