Located in the beautiful gated community of Pelican Sound in Estero, which is south of Fort Myers and north of Bonita Springs and Naples. You get the best of all worlds: a variety of casual and fine restaurants, museums, art galleries galore, active night life, theatres and movies, endless choice of shopping meccas, golf, fine area beaches and nature (eg. Everglades, Gulf of Mexico and Sanibel Island).
Why choose Pelican Sound? It is a very private and peaceful club. Perhaps it is our 27-hole championship golf course which will appeal to you, or two club restaurants (one formal dining at the Club House and the other offering more casual fare at the River Club), or even our six community pools (most with jacuzzi) or the fitness center. Then again, it may be that an even more active lifestyle which appeals such as six Har-Tru tennis courts, nature trails, or even canoeing or kayaking on the Estero River.
Others may prefer to participate in a variety of Club activities such as playing bridge, involving themselves in Arts and Crafts or simply using our Estero River boat shuttle to access Lover's Ket State Park and Beach on the Gulf of Mexico. Along the way to the sugar-sand beach you can see Florida wildlife living among the mangroves as you sail down the pristine Estero River and sail through San Carlos Bay observing the many schools of dolphins and porpoises playing and feeding.
In this wonderful venue our Coach home offers a convenient location from which to access all Club and area amenities from it's main floor end unit location with an extensive side garden.

About the owner: We love Pelican Sound and have been there since 2003. In fact, we have two properties thre which is why we are offering this unit for rent. Richard worked for IBM for 26 years and Elaine, most recently, is an award winning author (Priests in the Attic) and is currently preparing to record her first CD, thus reviving a five year professional singing career in the 1960's.
