This home is our personal vacation home which you will find beautifully furnished and filled with all of the conveniences of home! We are not deep in the woods, but UP IN THE CLOUDS! The house sits high up on Tyro with THREE levels of decks that give you and your guests an unobstructed view of the mountains beyond, the valley below - and endless entertainment by soaring eagles, and roaming deer. This house is impeccably furnished with top of the line bedding and over stuffed furniture to rest and relax! The house comfortably accomodates 5 couples or a family of 12 with beds and baths to make everyone's stay enjoyable.

The 'RE-LAX-INN is a spacious, five-bedroom, four-bath, private, vacation home which sits on the picturesque slope of Tyro Run. We will rent to guests for long weekends, weekly, or long-term stays. Our home was designed and built with meticulous attention to detail, taking full advantage of the panoramic view of Wintergreen Resort and the mountains beyond.
The first floor of the home is open and spacious with a beautiful kitchen of stainless steel appliances, 6 burner gas cooktop and over-sized oven, granite island and views from all angles.The open dining room has a custom-built heart pine table that seats 12. The great room has a beautiful, stone fireplace which reaches to the top of the soaring ceiling. Floor-to-ceiling windows on all sides of this wonderful room take advantage of the spectacular views. With over-stuffed sofas, leather chairs, toss pillows, a book and video library, assorted board games, a TV with VCR and a DVD player, you will never want for anything.
There is a full bath on this floor.
Every level of the house has large entertaining decks with outdoor furniture for relaxing. Chose the top deck to gather with your family and friends,dine alfresco and grill up a delicious dinner, the middle decks to relax and enjoy the views, or the bottom deck for a nap or a good read in the hammock.
TWO master suites with king-size beds encompass the second floor. One master bedroom has a fireplace, TV with VCR and stereo, and private deck. The private bath has a soaking tub, shower, and full vanity. The second master suite has a sitting area with a sofa bed, overstuffed chair, TV with VCR and stereo, and private deck. Full amenities are offered in its private bath as well. The laundry room with full washer and dryer is on this floor.
The third floor has three bedrooms, one with a king-size bed, one with a queen-size bed, and one with twin beds. There is a full bath on this floor as well.
The third floor is ground level in the back for easy access to Tyro and the hiking trails close to the house. If travelling with children, it's a wonderful spot to let them run and have fun, while keeping a close eye on them from the house.

My family stayed in this beautiful home last month and cannot say enough good things about it. The views from all of the decks are fantastic! We watched deer across the slope, and chipmunks running around in the bushes. It's quiet on the street and the children loved being able to walk right out side to enjoy the fresh air. We will return next year for sure - we have stayed in many houses on the mountain but none of them have been as well equipped or furnished as this one. It definitely does not feel like a rental home. Thank you for sharing your wonderful home with us!Recommended for: Sightseeing, girls getaway, families with young children, adventure seekers, romantic getaway, age 55+, families with teenagers.

We stayed here for a week last summer over the 4th of July and it was wonderful! We had 3 families (my immediate family, my parents and my sisters family) and there was enough room that we were all very comfortable. It was rainy enough to make watching fireworks uncomfortable for the younger kids but light enough that they weren't cancelled. We were delighted to discover that we could see the fireworks right from the deck, and the kids were even able to watch from the family room! The house is in wonderful condition with everything we needed right there.
