This vacation condo is an ideal all-season launching point for relaxation and adventure.
What will you do with your day? In this condo you could relax on the couch or deck and watch the sunrise turn the sky completely red, over the lake. Or perhaps enjoy the stars and moon glistening off the water at night. In the morning, enjoy your coffee from this lakeside deck in the company of the many birds that make this valley their home. Outside, you're 100 yards away from the waters edge. Swimming and paddling are accessed at the beach, which is a short 10 minute walk. Theatres, cinemas, recreational facilities, parks, cultural venues, shopping and restaurants are all within a ten minute drive from your condo. Three spectacular lakes, Silver Star Ski and mountain biking adventures, and many walking and hiking trails within a 10 to 30 minute drive. World class golfing is also available throughout the valley. People say that two of the best things about Okanagan golfing are the unique locations and the diverse topography of the valley, which offers a very different play on every course.

The Kelowna International Airport - YLW airport is about a 30 minute drive from the apt. There is also a local bus system to the Kelowna International Airport

The shops and restaurants (including Award Winning Okanagan Spirits Distillery, Downtown Vernon Restaurants and Coffee Shops, Downtown Vernon Stores, Okanagan Brewery and Polson Mall) are about a 10 minute drive from the property. Downtown Vernon has a thriving business community and one of the strongest Chambers of Commerce in the Province. A 10 minute drive will take you to our Village Green Mall and Anderson Subdivision Big Box Shopping area.
Attractions
Performing Arts Centre, Art Galleries, Wine Tours, Science Centre, Caetani Cultural Centre, Caravan Farm Theatre (35 min drive) and O'Keefe Historical Ranch (15 min drive). There is live theatre in the Greater Vernon area, and 2 cinemas. Vernon is home to the largest Winter Festival held in February and 'Funtastic' the best slowpitch event in BC! There are also various U-pick and destination Farms in Greater Vernon.
Activities
Kalamalka Lake (Provincial Park, Beaches etc.), Okanagan Lake (Yacht Club, Beaches etc.), Silver Star Mountain Biking and hiking (20 min drive), Recreation & Fitness Centres (10 min) and Horse Back Riding (15 min Drive). Vernon has skating, curling, soccer, all racquet sports, yoga, cross country and mountain bike trails and various water sport activities. The Wesbild Centre hosts regional hockey events and various other activities and trade shows.

Vernon Golf and Country Club, Hillview Golf, Spallumcheen Golf and Country Club, Predator Ridge Golf Course are all about a 15 minute drive and The Rise Golf Club is a 5 minute drive . Predator Ridge Golf Course is located next to the New Sparkling Hills Spa and Wellness Resort.
Snow Skiing & Boarding
Silver Star skiing and Sovereign Lake Cross Country Trails are a 30 minute drive from the property. Big White Ski Resort (Kelowna - 1 hour drive)

We spent 3 nights at this lovely condo, enjoying the lake view. It had everything we needed to be comfortable - a huge bedroom with lots of closet space, a great little kitchen and a wonderful view from the livingroom which had air conditioning that was really appreciated during those extremely hot evenings. The condo is located a few minutes drive from a lovely park and beach. We had a great, relaxing vacation and would have loved to stay longer if we had some extra time. Thanks Carolle for sending our forgotten items back to us too! Recommended highly!Recommended for: Sightseeing, romantic getaway, age 55+.

Besides the gorgeous lake view from every room, first thing that caught our eye was all the personal touches in the suite. When we arrived, there was a fruit basket and a beautiful table setting arranged. It was well decorated and we felt right at home. My wife and I stayed with our 16 month old, and we were very pleasantly surprised to find a playpen and a few toys left for our daughter. The manager was great too! We can't wait to spend our vacation relaxing on the patio again next year!Recommended for: Sightseeing, romantic getaway, age 55+, families with young children, girls getaway, adventure seekers.

My husband and I can't stop talking about what a perfect time we had at your beautiful condo. It was so clean and so totally romantic. Just like you say in your ad, every window has a view of the most magical lake we have ever seen. It was a bit rainy while we were there but we didn't mind... we were there for the atmosphere, a chance to relax and re-connect with each other... and your condo has atmosphere in spades! We are especially grateful to our hostess, Carolle. She is a lovely lady, we found her to be so helpful and so sincere in wanting us to enjoy our stay. She showed us her favourite walking trail, told us about great places for dinner and she told us that she made certain that our condo would be spotless. And believe me, it was. Beautiful linens, an amazing bed and it was like everything was designed just for us. Morning coffee on our private deck was beyond description... looking at the many moods of the lake while we sat there just made us feel like we were in another dimension. Anthony and I had such a wonderful time there and we will be coming back next year, when we can schedule a full vacation and stay for a week or even more. Vernon is a beautiful, interesting little city. Thank you again Carolle.Recommended for: Romantic getaway, age 55+.

The place was extremely clean when we arrived, the view from the condo balcony was magnificent, and having a kitchen available made it much better than any hotel room could be! The condo has full view of the lake which is just across the street. Communications before, during and after were prompt. What also makes this rental outstanding is the host. Carolle is a pleasure to rent from; she cares about your stay as if you were her family. My wife and I cannot wait to return and stay there again. It's what a vacation is all about.Recommended for: Sightseeing, romantic getaway, age 55+, families with young children, adventure seekers.
