  We stayed at Waterlands for several weeks in December. It surely met with all our expectations we got from browsing the website. For the second time we really enjoyed the atmosphere on Bonaire. In contrast with an earlier visit we did spend a lot of time on Waterlands Village just sitting on the porch, reading and watching at the water. It was great just being away from the hustle and bustle of the lowlands and doing nothing most of the time. We felt welcome right from the start and the staff was very friendly and helpful.

  We stayed at Waterlands Village in October last year. The Waterlands park had just opened and we were the first users of the cottage! It was a very luxurous two-person cottage, which a nice porch, air conditioning, dish washer, fridge and all the the other things you need. We have had a great time! Our hostesse, Jolanda, was great and always very friendly. She helped us out with finding a diving school, car rental and many other things. Waterlands Village is a very relaxing place, close to Kralendijk and to many great diving spots. The Village is very close to the airport, but no problems in terms of noise as not too many planes arrive and depart each day. We rented a car (which is definitely necessary in Bonaire) which took us everywhere we wanted to go. We absolutely recommend everybody to go to Waterlands, it is a lovely place!

  We stayed at Waterlands over the Christmas & New Years Holiday. It was absolutely wonderful. Our cottage was on the water. We would sit on our deck and watch turtles swimming and fish jumping. The managers Jolanda & Peter were very nice. They really were there to make your stay comfortable. This is a great place to come home to after a day at the ocean. You can cook in your cottage if you dont feel like going out all the time. This is a really nice place to stay. We will be back.

  Wow, that was just an awesome week in Waterlands village, warm welcomed by a very! nice and helpful managers couple, the great functional home and a luster swimmingpool area with luxury deck chairs. It took just a day to become more clever than the 0.3 IQ bugs that came out only between 6 and 7.30 PM. All people we met on the premises of Waterlands seemed to be selected as being nice and friendly so we parted after 8 nights with them as long known friends. The little junior had a good time in the pool, house and enjoyed the vacation on the island. It was not difficult to remain under the maximum electricity use in the house. We will be back.   First of all: Waterlands is NOT a hotel, it is a resort with 24 seperate cottages, either at the beach or in the garden. We have spend our last three holidays there (August 2008, October 2008 and now May 2009). The cottages are beautifull, with lovely beds, great porches and a very well equipped kitchen and super fridge. If you don’t want to cook, you can walk over to Plaza (back entrance is next to entrance of Waterlands) or walk through Plaza to Divi or to town. It was only opened last August and you see the garden grow every time. We are visiting Bonaire for several years now and Waterlands is our preferred choice. So is AB Car Rental: before we arrive on Bonaire we set a time to be picked up, the friendly staff of AB is always there early to pick us up and, sure, sometimes we have to wait at the desk for the paperwork, we are not the only ones wanting to be helped! We relax, we are on holiday, Bonaire is unhurried, that’s why we like it so much.

  First of all I would like to thank Jolanda sooo much for helping me out the whole weekend we stayed at Waterlands. That place is amazing. It has everything you need & more. Next time we will be staying there again. P.S. Sorry for the loud music.

  A WONDERFULL PLACE FOR YOUNG AND OLD. WE HAD A FANTASTIC TIME, WATERLAND VILLAGE BONAIRE IS NEAR THE BEACH AND THE CITY . WATERLAND VILLAGE BONAIRE IS A NEW COMPLEX BUT IT’S FEELS LIKE HOME THE MOMENT YOU ARIVED THE BUNGLOWS ARE MODERN WITH A LOT OF SPACE . WE WILL GO BACK THIS YEAR!!!

  In May 2009 we again have spent our vacation at the Waterlands Village Resort. The resort is beautiful, well maintained and Indonesian styled and it has a nice swimming pool. You can choose cottages at the waterfront or situated in the garden. The houses are spacious and well equipped. The porch in front of the house is lovely and the perfect spot to enjoy the sunset with a cool drink in the pleasurable company of friends. The Plaza resort is on a short walking distance where you can enjoy the facilities of a good restaurant and several beach bars. Yes, you can walk through Plaza Resort to the center of Kralendijk. You´ll find there a remarkable choice of good restaurants. We were lazy this time and have spent most of the time in the swimming pool, on the beach or snorkeling. The underwater world is really breathtaking. Bonaire is a real ´divers paradise´. If you´re lucky you can dive or swim with the friendly dolphins which have their habitat around Bonaire.

  On our 14th trip to Bonaire we stayed at the new waterlands village. It is just an awesome place. The swimming pool has a really cool water falls that comes on during happy hour time at the swim up bar. Bring your own !!! There is no bartender. We went scuba diving every day and the dive sites are just a short truck ride away. You need a truck at any place that you stay at in Bonaire. The rooms are brand new and very spacious. Waterlands village is very quiet and peaceful – the airport is just a short walk away but the noise from the planes is not a problem. It is a gated community so you feel very safe.
