  From the moment we pulled up the driveway everything was absolutely perfect. The home had everything you could possibly imagine and even with the great pictures from the website we were still amazed at the homey, comfortable interior and beautiful views. We took advantage of the hot tub every night. The location was very convenient to everything we needed and we would definitely return to rent this home without a doubt in the future.

  This house is amazing! Every detail for a rental has been well thought out by this owner. The kitchen is more than well supplied. If I had realized that I would not have ground my coffee beans before I came...a coffee grinder was in the cabinet!! We enjoyed the Asheville area and will return to see the things we didn't have time for. The gluten free restaurants were really good...and so many to choose from! If I had the option to give this rental home a 10, I would! Thanks Cathy!

  Cathy, my friend and I had the most amazing time staying in your mountain home. We had plenty of room to work on our art and spent a wonderful, stress-free girl's weekend away. The cabin was pristine when we arrived: one could tell a lot of thought and care went into providing guests with top knotch amenities! Thanks again for sharing your cabin with us.

  You can't find a cleaner or better furnished home. There is a new flat screen in the living room. It was great watching TV with the gas fireplace warming us. And there are two full size sofas. We each had one to lie down on. That was nice. While we didn't cook, there were more kitchen gadgets, cookware and supplies than we have at home. Oh, the master bath is the best. There is a large walk-in shower with plenty of hot water and water pressure. It's out in the woods, very peaceful with little or no traffic. Still, it's close enough to town to make a daily run to eat and explore. The owner emailed us while there to make sure everything was okay. It was. Thanks for a great stay!

  Very nice house, well decorated and fully stocked. Needs new tv real bad and must get a real connection to Internet. Fix those two things and you have the perfect getaway. Owner was great to us.

  Owner response: Thank you for bringing it to my attention that the tv was in need of repair. I have now purchased a new one to replace it. Also I have ordered wireless high speed Internet and a landline telephone.

  I went up for the weekend just to clear my head and maybe see some snow. I was blown away by this cabin. Everything was so clean and it had everything I needed and then some. I can't wait to visit again, maybe next month!

  This cabin was amazing. Beautiful inside and out! Cathy was extremely helpful and very responsive to all of questions and needs. Great location to area attractions and an easy drive to find. The cabin is loaded with everything you could need. Loved being able to do laundry and save money by eating in. The teenagers loved the hot tub to relax in the evenings. Would stay here again for sure if we are in the area again. Even had decorated Christmas trees in the cabin....nice touch.

  My husband and I stayed here for our honeymoon. It was a perfect location and very secluded. The cabin was very cozy and everything we needed was there. We will definitely come back again! Thanks Cathy!

  A great place to stay. Cathy was so helpful and we look forward to going back one day. Great place to stay if you are going to the Biltmore House or Grove Park Inn. It's about 30 mins away and out of all the hustle.

RENTAL AGREEMENT: The homeowner is not responsible for any accidents, injuries or illnesses that occur while on the premises or the property. The homeowner is not responsible for the loss of personal belongings or valuables of the guest. By accepting this reservation, it is agreed that all guests are expressly assuming the risk of any harm arising from their use of the premises or others whom they invite to use the premises. CHECK-IN time is AFTER 4:00 pm est and CHECK-OUT time is 10:00 am est. No early check-in or late check-out without prior approval. This is a NON-smoking property. Any evidence of smoking inside the home will result in eviction from the property and charges to your credit card for proper smoke cleaning and disinfecting. The minimum age for renters is twenty-five (25) years of age. We rent to responsible adults only. PETS: Owner must pre-approve pets and non-refundable pet fee must be paid. Guest is responsible for all cleaning and/or damage to the unit resulting from pets. Pets are not allowed on beds or sofas. All pets must be leashed at all times when outdoors and all pet refuse must be bagged and disposed of properly. FIREWORKS OR FIREARMS: There is to be no discharging of fireworks or firearms or any type. CANCELLATIONS: In the event you need to cancel your stay, you must give written notice at least 30 days before your arrival date. You will be given a full refund if you cancel at least 30 days before arrival date. If you must cancel less than 30 days before arrival date, no refund will be given. A partial stay or early departure does not warrant any refund. INCLEMENT WEATHER: Homeowner assumes absolutely no responsibility for inclement weather conditions which make it hazardous or impossible for renter to use the property. No refund will be given for any stay that cannot be utilized due to bad weather. Four wheel drive may be necessary anywhere in Asheville, including Cathy's Cabin, during winter months. It is strongly suggested that you purchase travel insurance to insure against inclement weather. TRAVEL INSURANCE: You may purchase travel insurance by visiting the following website: www.travelguard.com MAXIMUM OCCUPANCY: The maximum number of guests is limited to six (6) persons. MINIMUM STAY: This property requires a two (2) night minimum stay. Longer minimum stays may be required during peak season and holiday periods. LINENS AND HOUSEKEEPING: Bed and bath linens are included in the unit. No linens or towels are to be taken from the unit. Daily maid service is not included in the rental rate. Guests may request housekeeping services for longer stays for an additional charge. LOST KEYS: Any key not left in the lock box upon check-out will result in a $25.00 (twenty-five dollars) charge to renter. RATE CHANGES: Rates are subject to change without notice. FALSIFIED RESERVATIONS: Any reservation obtained under false pretense will be subject to forfeiture of advance payment, deposit, and/or rental money, and the party will not be permitted to check in. PARKING: Parking is limited to six (6) vehicles. Vehicles are to be parked in parking area only. FIREPLACE: The fireplace is a gas burning fireplace. Please do not throw any paper or other combustible materials in the fireplace. Fireplace may not be in operation during off season. CHECKOUT: Renter agrees to follow check-out procedures left inside cabin upon checkout. Renter further agrees to pay for any damage to cabin or contents by any member of their party.
