The perfect cabin to relax and enjoy all the Tahoe area has to offer. The cabin is a charming two bedroom, one bath home on the West Shore of Lake Tahoe. Enjoy some of the custom touches in the cabin like stainless steel appliances and custom concrete countertops. Our cabin in Tahoma is within several minutes of the lake, mountains and ski resorts. A private beach, pier and a charming local store are within walking distance. Homewood Ski Resort is just three miles away. And there is cross country skiing just up the road. Tahoma cabin is a perfect place to rest and relax and recharge. We love the Tahoe area and stay at our cabin at least once a month. The kids ride bikes, swim in the lake, fish, play in the yard or at the local park or one of their favorite things is to walk to the store for a treat. My wife and I have worked very hard to improve our residence and we are always changing things and making improvements as we continue to enjoy the Tahoma area. This is not just a rental to us, it is a home. Amenities: New queen size bed and bed frame in the master bedroom. Wooden bunk beds for the kids in the second bedroom. Love seat sofa bed in second bedroom that sleeps one. New Crate and Barrel queen size pull out couch in the living room. All sheets, blankets, bath towels and beach towels provided. Board games for family fun. TV/DVD and a collection of DVD's in the kids room. Antenna and TV in the main room (Soon to come) Wood Fire place in living room. Fenced dog kennel in the backyard. Gas BBQ. Fully- equipped kitchen with everything for cooking. Private Beach and Pier within walking distance. Washer and dryer in bathroom. My wife and I believe in the take some leave some approach when it comes to kitchen supplies. There is pasta, canned foods, oil, sugar, cooking supplies and other food items in the kitchen. Please use what you need and if you have something you can leave in its place for the next person it will ensure the kitchen always has something for the next person. Above all we want everyone to enjoy their time on the West Shore of Tahoe. We have been returning to the area for the last 15 years only to fall in love more with the magic of Lake Tahoe.

My husband, our daughter and my sister loved our stay in this Tahoma cabin. We bonded over a jigsaw puzzle (no missing pieces:-) and root beer floats at night and enjoyed a sailboat ride on beautiful Lake Tahoe and a long Granite Wilderness hike. This cabin is in a nice, quiet neighborhood with friendly people and dogs. As others have mentioned, the cabin is well-stocked, nicely decorated and conveniently located. It was very relaxing!Recommended for: Families with young children, age 55+, pet owners, romantic getaway, families with teenagers, girls getaway.

Our family of 4 adults and 2 dogs enjoyed our stay immensely. The cabin was fully stocked, clean and very convenient to skiing, lake and stores. The owners were quick to respond with questions and very helpful and kind. On a side note, the water pressure amazing with hot water at all times!!! :) We will make this our annual skiing trip cabin for sure! What a lovely trip we had!Did you find this review helpful? We had a great experience staying at this cabin. Its furniture, kitchen utensils and appliances are all updated. It is all extremely clean and the owners provide all you need in terms of linens, blankets and towels. It's walking distance to an excellent grocery store and Homewood is also close by. It worked perfectly for our group of 5 - a couple with 2 small kids and their uncle, who shared the second bedroom with the kids.Recommended for: Families with young children, age 55+, romantic getaway, adventure seekers, sightseeing.

Our family and pets had the pleasure of staying at the Tahoma Cabin over a long weekend. The cabin has great furnishings and updated modern appliances and fixtures. I really appreciated how clean and welcoming the property was. It felt like a home and well cared for. The kitchen is well equipped, and if your too tired to cook, there are a lot of places to choose from in Tahoe City. We would highly recommend this property. The location is fantastic for access to the slopes or the lake. Walking distance to the Homewood ski resort shuttle bus. The neighborhood is pretty quite and we spent a lot of time taking walks and enjoying the scenery.Recommended for: Families with young children, age 55+, pet owners, romantic getaway, families with teenagers, girls getaway, adventure seekers, sightseeing.

We had a fantastic time! The lsiting is very accurate and was more than we had hoped for. The pictures represent the cabin very well, but there is nothing like seeing it in person. The owners were very helpful and friendly. We especially appreciated how clean and CUTE the place was. It was like staying in a very nice hotel, but it is a cabin! We loved the beautiful kitchen and nice amenities in the whole place.Having a new, clean washer and dryer was just perfect! The fireplace was easy to start and warmed the whole place quickly. It was fun for games or a romantic glass of wine. Everything about the cabin was welcoming and there was plenty of space to spread out and make yourself comfortable. Everything was near by and we really enjoyed a glass of wine on the porch after hiking and biking. The cabin had plenty of bed and closet space and even family games to take out at night! This is your upgraded home away from home! We loved it and would definately come back!!Recommended for: People with disabilities, families with young children, age 55+, pet owners, romantic getaway, families with teenagers, girls getaway, adventure seekers, tourists without a car, sightseeing.

About the owner: Growing up in the Bay Area, I always enjoyed the Tahoe area for skiing, fishing and camping. When I met my wife, I knew we would enjoy the Tahoe area together. During one of our first trips to the West Shore of Tahoe, I asked my wife to marry me on the shore of Lake Tahoe. During our engagement we continued to come to the West Shore of Lake Tahoe, due to a friend owning a cabin in Homewood. As we explored the West Shore, we decided to have our wedding at the West Shore Cafe' in Homewood in 2001. After ten years of marriage and two children we were finally able to fulfill our dream of owning a property in Lake Tahoe. Due to our love of the West Shore we knew there was no other choice, but to purchase a property in Tahoma. We love to share everything the West Shore in Lake Tahoe has to offer.
Why the Owner Chose Tahoma:
The West Shore of Lake Tahoe not only hold a special place in our hearts, but the saying 'The West Shore is The Best Shore' is true. We love Sugar Pine State Park, the bike trails, Homewood, the lake, skiing, hiking and the community. You can get everywhere on a bike using the paved bike trails just down the road.
The Unique Benefits at this House:
This is not someones old cabin. We have made the effort to make the stay as nice as possible. With new appliances, custom concrete counter top, almost all new furniture and beds. A complete kitchen fully stocked kitchen, new linens and bath towels. It is a short walk to Sugar Pine State Park or the private Beach just down the road. You can also walk to the PDQ Market, pizza parlor or Coffee and Gel Lotto. Homewood Ski resort is just minutes away.
