Our family of 5 rented this wonderful home on Trickey Pond, in August. Prior to our arrival, I corresponded with the property manager via email. She was very helpful and her responses were prompt. The house was perfect for our family. The master suite has a king bed and flat screen t.v. The French doors open to balconies and provide peaceful views of the pond. The master suite is located on one end of the house, the kitchen is central to the home and off the dining area is a seperate 'wing', with a family room and wood stove. There is a loft with pull down stairs which is great for the kids! Off of the family room is a den with a television, floor to ceiling bookcases loaded with books and kitchenette, bath and bedroom. A cool, full size bed 'air bed', was also provided for extra sleeping. There are two decks perfect for relaxing and a small yard with a picnic table for family time. Walk the sandy path to the water and the wooden walkways lead you to the spacious dock where you can dive right into the clear water. You can also fish right off the dock, or paddle out in the complimentary canoe. The house is clean, comfortable and well appointed. There are Adirondack chairs and comfortable folding chairs for the deck and tubes and floats for the pond. The house is located on a quiet street, perfect for morning walks or a jog. We had the pleasure of meeting the owners, on our departure day. We would not hesitate recommending this vacation rental, although we hate to give away our secret spot, 'On Trickey Pond'. The quaint town of Naples is a short drive and there's plenty to keep you busy. The causeway seperates Long Lake and Brandy Pond. You can take a cruise on the lake or ride a seaplane. There are two minature golf courses, plenty of water sport rentals, restaurants and ice cream to enjoy. There is a Drive in movie theater about 10 minutes from downtown and the quaint town of Bridgton is another 15 minutes from Naples.Recommended for: Sightseeing, families with young children, pet owners, adventure seekers, age 55+, families with teenagers.

The property has all of the ammendities of home, then some. The Jacuzzi tub and air conditioning in the master and guest bedroom were a plus! The home is very spacious and can comfortly accomedate 8-10 people. The lake is crystal clear and clean, the bottom can visible at depths of 30+ feet. The fishing is spectacular from the dock alone. The dock is less than a minute from the back door and 5 minutes from the boat launch, which is a two minute drive from the house and visible from the dock. The dock is set in deep water and can accomedate most boats, bring the tubes and skis. Swimming off the dock was excellent and clean. Most of our days were spent either fishing, tubing, snorkling, swimming and floating in the lake. There was a canoe and life vest available for use, along with yard games and a propane grill, which was clean and well maintained. The property is located 10 minutes from everything. Downtown Naples, Brigeton and Sebago. North Conway is an easy drive (30-40 minutes) if shopping is your thing. I chose this property because of it's private setting and close proximmity to attractions and conveniences, it delivered on both. The owners were very pleasent and accomidating. They made sure that we had anything and everything we needed and were readily available to answer any questions. The home is well maintained and clean. I would reccomend this property to family and friends. We will be returning for another wonderful Maine vacation at this home next year.Recommended for: Sightseeing, girls getaway, families with young children, adventure seekers, romantic getaway, age 55+, families with teenagers.
