Very nice condo in good shape. Owner has included many great amenities to make your stay very enjoyable. Puzzles; games; DVD players; widescreen TVs; beach toys, chairs, towels and umbrella; snorkels and fins; wonderfully supplied kitchen utensils and appliances. Really not much to complain about. The owner was also very helpful and great to correspond with. Kihei is a great town, that gets pretty busy downtown, but nothing like Lahaina. Beaches are nice and not too crowded. The surfing and paddleboarding were great. We saw over 50 turtles and two mantas in one trip. Kihei doesn't have a harbor, so all boat excursions head out immediately across the street at the boat ramp. We walked over for all our diving trips. Fred's and 808 Bistro are two good restaurants within easy walking distance. Kihei Kaffee House, Sansei, Coconuts and Cuatro are some of Kihei's best restaurants. The owner has supplied a informative list of restaurants, drug stores, grocery stores, etc. I'd recommend Big Kahuna for surfing and paddleboarding rentals. Lovely spacious, bright, spotless accommodation. Fully stocked, updated kitchen. Everything was as described. Very much appreciated the beach items -- cooler, chairs, umbrella and many beach towels. Helpful front desk. Brand new stacker washer/dryer to help keep up with the daily beach laundry! The front desk suggested we explore the waters on the SeaFire vessel which departs at 7:45 from the Kehei Boat Ramp. No easier way to explore Molokini and swim with the turtles. VERY reasonably priced and at the bottom of the Maui Kamaole driveway. Would highly recommend this operator over the more touristy outfits. Thanks to Wen for opening up her lovely home. It receives my stamp of approval -- and I'm very fussy!Recommended for: Adventure seekers, age 55+, families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway, tourists without a car, romantic getaway, sightseeing.

This was our first trip to Maui but not our first time traveling. The condo was everything we thought it would be and more. We spent time in the spacious kitchen making wonderful meals which we ate on the lanai with an incredible view of the ocean and sunset. We also had the pleasure of listening to the conch blowers at sunset on a nearby property! The bedrooms were spacious and the beds very comfortable. The pool, the grounds and facilities are meticulously maintained and super clean. We will recommend this unit to people we know who are going to Maui as it is within walking distance of the most beautiful beaches, shopping, ice cream and coffee shops. There is amazing snorkeling and turtle watching nearby as well.Recommended for: Adventure seekers, families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway, tourists without a car, romantic getaway, sightseeing.

Maui Kamaole is a beautiful area with lots of flowers and landscaping. We really enjoyed the tropical pool and spa in the evening and found it worth the walk up. The condo was well stocked and set up perfectly for either two couples or a family with kids. The loft style led the condo to feel airy and bright, the lanai was perfect for early morning coffee and evening dinner. This property was fantastic. I live in Hawaii and travel for work to the outer islands. This property has everything you would need for a relaxing vacation or for a comfortable stay for work. Our family of five had a wonderful stay! The accomodations were perfect. We all had our space for sleeping, hanging out, relaxing, reading, eating and more! Three lanais, beautiful grounds, two pools, restaurants, shops, and beaches nearby, allowed all of us to participate in different vacation activities. The condo was well equipped in the kitchen and the beach supplies, including towels, were plentiful! The listing description and pictures were very accurate and I would recommend this condo to friends and family. The owners were very friendly and helpful.Recommended for: Families with teenagers, families with young children, tourists without a car.

We give your condo a 5 star rating. It was exactly as advertised and more. We have stayed in Maui many times and this is about the best equipped unit we have ever had. We definitely recommend the unit to others. We rented this condo when we had our daughter and two grandsons with us. They had a wonderfful time. Our family has now gone home and we are still in Maui in a smaller unit in a different complex. Your unit was by far and away nicer. We just wished you had a one bedroom for us to stay in when we come again.Recommended for: Age 55+, families with teenagers.

Enjoyed our stay at Maui Kamaole. Unit was clean and exactly as described. Nice, quiet location, close to beaches, restaurants and shopping. Really appreciated having beach chairs available. We were sad to leave but hope to return again. We just stayed 2 weeks in this wonderful unit. It was much nicer, larger and better equipped than another unit that our relatives rented at the same complex so check around - it is also the unit as well as the complex that matters. The unit is probably better equipped than my own home! The kitchen is very modern with loads of cupboards. In fact there was tons of storage in the unit. There is nothing that we even remotely needed in the kitchen or for linens, beach stuff etc. The listing photos are very realistic. We knew up front that the unit only has a slight ocean view but not enough so that you could sit and whale watch etc. but you can see if the ocean is calm or choppy, see the mountain. There are trees that block the view but it is still lovely and the deck is a good size. The beds were to die for as well as the linens. The master bedroom loft with king bed closes off to the living room with shutters and you cannot see up there even though there is no door (normal loft configuration). We did not have anyone sleeping on the sofa bed so there was no noise issue. I say that is the master but equally the second bedroom that has a door is huge and Wen kindly arranged for a twin bed bridge so that room makes up to a proper king bed so anyone renting may want that to be the master. It has an adjoining pocket door bathroom with a shower (no tub) with an access door in the hallway. It has a nice open balcony. The loft balcony is completely enclosed with wooden slats and would be suitable for reading or some quiet space but not for looking out or sunning. So three balconies in the unit and options for master bedroom! Wen was great to deal with about our booking and we did not need to contact her during our stay. It's a great location for access to everything in Kihei - you can walk to the beaches and some of the shops/restaurants less than a mile away. All in all a great stay and I think excellent good value - if you want direct ocean view you will certainly pay a lot more. As with most Kihei condos, there is a road between the ocean and condos but many are right on the road and would be terribly noisy. We did not hear one car from this complex - it is quieter than the other end of Kihei and is more residential with less traffic. This was our first stay in Maui but our family have been there many, many times and have tried many complexes and they like this complex very much.Recommended for: Adventure seekers, age 55+, families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway, romantic getaway, sightseeing.

My family of 5, including 3 twenty-somethings rented this unit for 4 nights. It was a great layout, and full of surprise niceties causing me to feel like I was always saying, "I can't believe they even have......". The layout: I loved the great room effect. The kitchen was not closed off at all, so we could be cooking, reading, eating and we're were all together. The large table on the deck seats about 8, which I also liked. The unit was so clean, and was furnished with everything from all the kitchen gadgets, plus a large side by side refrigerator, plenty of linens, to a large selection of toys (bogie boards, snorkels, chairs, etc). I felt like I had been trusted with the fine wine glasses! So refreshing. The complex is nice with a large volume of BBQ's in the surrounding area, and 2 nice pool areas. I loved the lock-box for the front door key, so if our family broke up in the separate groups, everyone had the ability to get into the unit. All in all, we would happily return to this unit next year! It was also nice working with Wen. She followed through on everything, and I felt like she was very attentive. We were very pleased with the modern updated decor and the cleanliness. You also had it well equipped with everything we needed, both inside and to take to the beach. Our stay was wonderful! The condo is well equipped and CLEAN, and we loved the multiple lanais. The master BR is a loft room upstairs with its own bath. Access to the pool and hottub is close, and it's about a 5-8 minute easy walk to the beach (take the path from the boat ramp to access Keawakapu beach rather than the road for quiet scenic route). The owner was great to work with, and very responsive. We saw whales from the beach, did some local snorkeling and went to Ahiahi nature preserve and molikini crater for great snorkeling. We would definitely stay here again!Recommended for: Adventure seekers, age 55+, families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway, tourists without a car, sightseeing.

Location, Location, Location. The condo had everything that you could ask for. Very nicely updated and plenty of room. Two couples sharing the unit and we never got in each other's way. More dishes and towels than most people have at home. Three lani's gives everyone a place to sit and read. Located close to shops and across the street from the beach trail that will take you all the way to Wailea.You won't be disappointed! Want to go on a snorkel cruise most of the boat's leave from the marina across the road.Recommended for: Adventure seekers, age 55+, families with teenagers, families with young children, tourists without a car, romantic getaway, sightseeing.

My husband and I had with our three children (8, 6, 6) a great time in the condo. Every morning we enjoyed having breakfast on the beautiful lanai. The condo is very nice furnished, it is clean, it is spacious and we liked the wi-fi and the 3 televisions. We also appreciated that the condo is so close to the ocean and in walking distance to nice restaurants. We stayed in this condo with friends for 5 nights while we were in town for a wedding, and it couldn't have been more perfect! We loved the condo complex - well maintained, beautifully landscaped, and it felt very intimate despite how large the complex is. It was so great to be so close to the Kamaole beaches in Kihei, where we would start our day swimming and snorkeling. This location was very convenient in between Kihei and Wilea, and allowed us to explore these areas easily. We greatly enjoyed the condo which had everything we needed (including plenty of beach and snorkeling gear) and was beautifully decorated. Wen was great to work with and I could not recommend this condo more!Recommended for: Adventure seekers, age 55+, families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway, tourists without a car, romantic getaway, sightseeing.

We came to Maui for the wedding of close friends. Although we were out and about so much with wedding plans we loved our condo. It was modern and clean, large and beautiful. We were very happy with our stay, the condo was just as described and even more beautiful than the photos in the listing. Fully stocked, with everything we could possibly need, wonderfully clean and to top it off the owners were very easy to deal with and very helpful whenever we had a question. A special thanks to them for the new playpen they purchased to accommodate our little one. B209 is a wonderful condo. We had four in our party, and there was plenty of room for us. We loved having the lanai to enjoy breakfast alfresco. As advertised, the condo was very clean and well-appointed with 3 televisions, wi-fi, and just felt like home, only nicer as it was in Maui! Favorite restaurants included Maui Tacos, Cafe O'Lei and Pita Paradise, all relatively affordable restaurants. We also enjoyed the Swap Meet at the Community College in Kahului on Saturday mornings. We found great homemade bread and fresh papayas for breakfast, as well as many inexpensive gifts for friends at home. Wen was key in making our stay a memorable vacation. Reservations were easy, and she was very helpful with our requests. It is always nice to find a hands-on owner who takes pride in ownership of a beautiful condo. We would certainly consider B209 for our future stays in South Kihei.Recommended for: Adventure seekers, age 55+, families with teenagers, girls getaway, romantic getaway, sightseeing.

We had a wonderful stay and experience at the condo! Spacious, clean, and best of all we were provided with all the little extras that helped our daily beach activities. Beach chairs, boogie boards, pool toys, plenty of beach towels. The condo was in a great location for our early morning walks along Wailea and Kamaole beaches and the evening walks for ice cream treats. Wen was gracious and very accommodating to our needs. What a fabulous end to our Hawaiian holiday – staying at this condo in Maui! We had such a great time. This is a beautiful condo – very tastefully furnished, neat, clean and spotless.
