Tim & Corina, Thank you for an exceptional vacation. Lake Como itself was fantastic, but the Dreamers' House may be one of the best locations in the area. We repeatedly reminded each other of how lucky we were to find it. We absolutely loved sitting outside on the balcony just absorbing the lakeside activities and views. This may be the most relaxing vacation we've ever had. Although we enjoyed the various day trips, it was always nice to return to the Dreamers' House and just hang out at the house or stroll along the lakeside to La Baia for dinner (good food and friendly service).

Have had a wonderful holiday here in the Dreamers’ House, Lake Como. It has to be one of the most spectacular settings in the world. Particularly enjoyed visiting Bellagio, 2 great meals there at Bilacus and would definitely recommend hiring speedboat on the lake – great fun. Villa Balbianello also to be recommended as is La Baia restaurant a short walk away.

Marvel at the Mountains

We have had a great week with superb weather – pity it’s raining on our last day. Living in a flat part of England, we marvel at the mountains and the views. We walked up to Rifugio Menaggio and took the cable car from Argegno to Pigra before walking down. Menaggio is a most attractive town and the kids loved the ice creams there. We travelled on the train from London to Milan and then onto Varenna. We did not miss a car – the buses are cheap and reliable and, of course, the boat trips are spectacular. We could not convince the kids to hire bikes – they did not think they could manage the ascents ! The villa is great and just as described on the internet. Guest from England.

G’day from Australia. We enjoyed our trips to St. Moritz and Lugano, the mountains are spectacular. After the flat, arid land of Oz, this has been a holiday of a lifetime. Your home is peaceful and welcoming, we thank you for allowing us to share in this beauty. We have spent lots of our time discovering the delights of the local cuisine and have become very partial to a drop of Chianti. Tim & Corina, thanks so much for the time we have had at your Dreamers’ House. What a special place it is. Waking in the morning to snow-capped mountains and views what you can only dream about. Local cuisine and wines we have all got a taste for. Hopefully be back one day. Thanks from Oz.

This house is gorgeous! We couldn't have asked for a better place to spend our week on Lake Como. We'll always remember the house's beautiful decor, views and comfort from the heat! We laid out in the sun, reading and then swam when it got too hot to handle. We toured the area from Como to Colico, visited an abbey, kayaked and drank by the lake from dawn til dusk. Heaven! We're off to Tuscany, but we will never forget the beautiful, magnificent & vibrant house on Lake Como' - June 25, 2005

August 27 - Sept. 2, 2005 A wonderful 6 days - only a pity it could not be for longer. We were delighted with the Villa and had a very happy time here - we hope to return.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stayed at your picturesque "Dreamers' Cottage." The view and atmosphere were relaxing and just right for our vacation. Bellagio was quaint & lovely and so was Varenna. We sat in countless cafes and drank delicious espresso's as we watched the world go by. We were enchanted by your lovely area and will always think of it as a special place. Best Wishes! At the beginning we were planning to visit Lake Como and stay in a hotel, however, we changed our minds when we found the Dreamers' House on the internet. What a wonderful house! I would personally like to thank you for all your help via email & all the useful information. It has been wonderful, we now know why you call it Dreamers House, we could have dreamed all day. Excellent stay - no complaints! A perfect setting in an excellent accommodation. We highly recommend the "Barchetta" restaurant in Bellagio. We hope all future holidaymakers have as fabulous a time as we did during our short stay.

We had five beautiful days on Lago di Como. The landscape, food and drink were all excellent.

During our short stay, we felt like we were in our own home. The weather was always above 30 C, the water, the grounds around the villa, everything was more than we dreamed. The property has an easy Mediterranean flair, the water and the air too. We can recommend it to anybody.
