A couple of my buddies and I traveled up north for 3 nights, not expecting what the cabin would exactly be like, but to find paradise. The pictures and description of the cabin don't do enough justice for how beautiful and well- equipped the house is. The cabin is so cozy, well insulated, has everything you need, and is definitely the coolest place i have ever stayed. The house has a cozy living room with the wrap-around couch that seats everybody and a fully equipped kitchen. Being a bunch of guys, we completely forgot to bring all the little things ( that girls would think of bringing), but when we got there, we realized the house had everything! The basement in the cabin was also really cool, it had a bar with darts, air hockey, and Foosball (making it feel like we were at a real bar!) The privacy factor was also a nice part, the house is secluded in the woods with out anybody within a reasonable distance. Also, i ran into brad (the caretaker) down at the local store, and he was so friendly and fulfilling to any needs we had. Paul, the owner, was the nicest and easiest guy to work with while booking this trip. From the second i gave him a call up until i was HOME from the trip, Paul kept in contact with me, making sure everything was going smoothly and making sure we were enjoying our stay. With the friendly service from Paul alone, i wanted to rent this place over and over again. I have no negatives about my trip, and can't wait until summer when my friends and I can hopefully rent again!Did you find this review helpful? Yes | No Helpful votes: 0/0

This is a great cabin indeed. Great location, nicely built, plenty of space. We have been there for the New Years Eve and we liked it. One night the heat stopped working, and we had to start the fire in the basement: the wood stove was a saver; I called the care taker in the morning and they fixed the heater right away. It is an excellent opportunity for friends gathering.Did you find this review helpful? Yes | No Helpful votes: 0/0

Beyond PERFECT! One of our best Christmas' ever! Owner was so very helpful and and accommodating. Brad the plow guy was so very responsive and helpful. The property and location exceeded our expectations. So cozy and comfortable. It was stocked with everything we could have possibly needed. We wanted privacy and we got it..WOW what a great place to relax while also the perfect location for walks and hikes, cross country skiing, snowshoeing. We look forward to another trip when we can bring the snowmobiles or in the summer with the kayaks! Spent quality time with local family and friends. Hosted Christmas Eve Dinner. Loads of fun in the downstairs game room. This place should be named "Linger Forever" because we did not want to leave! Thank you for such a memorable vacation!Recommended for: Romantic getaway, sightseeing, families with teenagers, adventure seekers, families with young children, girls getaway, pet owners, age 55+.

My friends and myself spent Labor Day Weekend here, one word to describe it, PERFECT. Accomodated 10 28 year old guys to a T. Lot of room inside and out. The basement game room is exactly as advertised, foozball, pool, air hockey, darts and an awesome bar. You can tell other people had as much fun with it as we did because it was a little worn, but nevertheless, it got the job done. Pavillion is also great outside sitting by the fire at night, grilling up some burgers and dogs. I wish I could tell you the surroundings but we stayed put for 3 days, lot of land to play frizbee and bag toss and horse shoes. I expected flatter land to play some volley ball or badmitton but we had so many things to do it didn't even matter. I reccommend this cabin to anyone who is looking to be secluded and not have to worry about anything. I can't wait to go back during the winter and hit up the snow mobile trails. Also, Paul was great, how could I forget him! Called a month in advance and he had no problem with helping me set up one of the most unforgettable weekends of my young life. Gave perfect directions, simple and easy rules, and sent the deposit check back instantly as we checked out. Couldn't of been any more gracious. Thanks Paul your Cabin is awesome, Linger Longer for life.Did you find this review helpful? Yes | No Helpful votes: 1/1

My wife & I spent 5 days at the cabin, & loved it !! While there we went swimming at South Pond (5 miles from the cabin). The water was clear, the beach was uncrowded (10 - 15 people), and the facilities were clean & well maintained. The snowmobile trails (a short distance from the driveway) are good for an easy mountain bike ride. The local roads are great for road riding, with wide shoulders. While the speed limit on Rt 110 is 55MPH, it is great for riding, with rolling hills & good views of a river & the mountains. The cabin itself is very nice, with everything you need for an enjoyable stay. Cell phone reception is limited, and there is no internet, which was a blessing. It gives you ample time to connect to the people you are with.... If you want to get away with your significant other, or your family & friends, this is a great place ! ! ! We were sorry to have to leave, and look forward to another trip next summer !! Paul & his wife were great to deal with ! !Recommended for: Romantic getaway, sightseeing, families with teenagers, adventure seekers, families with young children, girls getaway, age 55+.

Another wonderful time at Linger Longer. So much to do, Always want to stay for another week. Fishing up in Pittsburgh at First Connecticut Lake was fun,and also on the Androscoggin River. Small mouth bass and rainbow & brow trout aplenty. We fished every day, went moose watching(saw nine during our week), climbed to the top of Mount Washington on the Cog Railway to view a clear day,and swam at Christine Lake in Stark. Great for the dogs, very pet friendly.Recommended for: Romantic getaway, sightseeing, families with teenagers, adventure seekers, families with young children, pet owners, age 55+.

We could only stay for 3 nights - wish we had more time. The cabin is better than advertised, clean and well stocked. Campfires, game-room, grilling and swimming occupied out brief time there. Paul was terrific and Gord's Country Store rents canoes and kayaks. Nearby Jerico Motorsports rents ATVs. A real North Woods experience.Recommended for: Romantic getaway, sightseeing, families with teenagers, adventure seekers, pet owners, age 55+.

We rented the cabin so that we would be close to a few ATV trails as well as to do some trout fishing. When we arrived at the cabin, it was absolutely beautiful, clean and had everything we needed to accommodate our vacation. We rode our ATVs for 100 or so miles through the various mountain trails. It was our first mountain riding adventure so we were overwhelmed with excitement. The trout fishing was great too. We caught about a dozen good size fish during our stay. We enjoyed our stay so mch we decided that we will return in October.Recommended for: Romantic getaway, sightseeing, families with teenagers, adventure seekers, families with young children, girls getaway, pet owners, age 55+.
