Finished basement with queen pull out sofa, flat screen TV with Wii & VCR, pool table, Foosball and laundry room. Perfect for evenings & rainy days (almost never happens!) for kids & teens.
Outside enjoy a very private & quiet neighborhood – 13x19 foot deck with plenty of comfy seating & tables for your intimate clambake– short quaint path to basketball & tennis courts, baseball diamond & soccer field as well as steps to the Cape Cod Rail Trail Bike Path. This home is exactly ½ mile from White Pond – a fresh water pond perfect for swimming, kayaking & canoeing. Most vacationers visiting are unaware of Chatham’s many fresh water ‘swimming holes’ a treat usually reserved for the locals. All of Chatham’s shore beaches are within a 2-5 minute drive.
Chatham has so much to offer from Friday night Band Concerts in town (don’t forget to go to Candy Manor first!), amazing restaurants, to the Lighthouse & it’s gorgeous beach, Monomoy for seal watching – not to mention its perfect location to go to Provincetown, Hyannis, Martha’s Vineyard or Nantucket for day trips.
Cyclists take note: This house is less than a minute away from the Chatham loop of the Cape Cod Rail Trail. It is a perfect accommodation for cycling groups. You can cycle your legs off and then relax at the beach. Stop at the many restaurants and cafes along the beautiful, well maintained trail. Let us know you're coming and we will see that there's a bike stand and pump in the garage. Chatham Cycles bike shop is less than a mile away and they rent beautiful Madones and Gary Fishers they deliver & pick up too!
So “Find your way here”, it’s definitely the place to be!!

We took a long weekend vacation with 4 adults and a child. We were immediately struck by the bright, clean interior. The home is well appointed and everything is in good working order. We enjoyed the pool table in the basement, the bose sound system and the beautiful kitchen. We saw deer each day and walked to the ball field and bike path beyond. We would and plan to come back again next year. Everything was beautiful, this house would be great for a fall trip too. The firplace works wonderfully, great draw, no smoke, thanks for everything!Recommended for: Age 55+, families with teenagers, girls getaway, sightseeing, families with young children, romantic getaway.

This is the best house in Chatham......what a beautifully decorated, clean, and comfortable home. We are renting this home for a week next Summer and wanted to "check it out" before we spend the week and get the lay of the land and figure out what we would need to bring for our vacation and as it turns out we just need ourselves and clothes and I guess the husbands and kids!!!! There is not one detail the owners have left out, this house has everything you would need. The beach and town are close to the house which will make for a wonderful, easy, and relaxing vacation...... I would recommend this vacation rental to anyone who is thinking of a Cape vacation..... Looking forward to next summer!!!!!!!!!Recommended for: Age 55+, families with teenagers, girls getaway, sightseeing, families with young children, romantic getaway.

This is a fabulous rental for a family or as in our case two. The bike trail runs right by the house with access to the lake beach, any of the local shore beaches as well as downtown. The baseball field behind it connects to 8 tennis courts. The basement is a children s paradise, which allows for a relaxing vacation for the adults.Recommended for: Families with young children.

We were so fortunate to secure this wonderful rental home for our first trip to Chatham. The owners have clearly spent a lot of time thinking of the needs of their guests. This is apparent when you walk in and find their own thorough guide to Chatham. It's a beautiful home that's clean, well-maintained, and very comfortable. With four bedrooms, upstairs level plus full basement, and a beautiful and updated kitchen/family room, the house never felt cramped with 9 people ranging in age from grandparents to toddler. With one twin bed and a pullout bed in the basement unused, it could have truly accommodated 12 people. The full basement with second TV, pool table and foosball table is a definite bonus, with a dedicated area that's perfect for toddlers, including toys, games, books, playpen, toddler table/chairs, pack n' play. The house is also fully equipped to ensure a fun-filled Cape vacation, so you don't have to worry about bringing your own gear; beach gear (chairs, blankets, towels, beach umbrella, cooler on wheels, float noodles), nets and fishing pole are all provided. All you need to bring is your swimwear and sunblock! The outdoor shower was a big hit with the kids, too! While it's not right on the beach, it's a very easy drive to the water and very close to downtown, shops, restaurants, numerous freshwater ponds, and the bike trail. Believe me, you can't go wrong with this rental home. We will definitely be back for more family vacations in the future!!Recommended for: Age 55+, families with teenagers, sightseeing, families with young children, romantic getaway.

My family rented this lst time rental property and it was fantastic. The owners of the home had everything available for families to have a wonderful and relaxed time. The entire house was kid friendly and they had incredible playroom down in the basement which was light and airy. The children were all safe in the home and the playroom had all the toys little ones could want and adults too. The kitchen was well stocked with every type of kitchenware needed and it had great spacious counters for working on. The entire house was fabulous, clean, spacious, and very comfortable. We had enough tables and chairs for outside eating. Location was close to downtown area and getting to others areas of the Cape.. The owners of the home were accommodating and sweet to work with. It will be our rental home for the years to come. Thank you for providing such an incredible rental. I would definitely recommend this property for rental.Recommended for: Families with teenagers, sightseeing, families with young children, adventure seekers.

About the owner: My husband Tom, our son Alex and I have owned a vacation home in Chatham since 2000. Our summers plus 'off-season' time here have, and continue to be memorable and heart warming. In anticipation of Alex graduating high school and our retirement to Chatham - we thought maybe we should invest in a rental property (or two or three down the road!) We have had lots of experience renting homes (thru VRBO btw) and I know exactly what makes a rental satisfying to us, so I figured - well I can do that for others, I'm very detail oriented, why not try?
Why the Owner Chose Chatham:
Ahhh, why THIS property? Just ask my renters that have been there so far. The minute I looked at this house on line in January I was hooked. It wasn't until April that I was actually able to look at the house. The minute I walked in - I knew, just as I had in January. They say in real estate there are 3 things to look for: location, location, location. And, to me, this house has got it.
The Unique Benefits at this House:
But way more than that, it is a warm, inviting & easy to 'live in' home. It's in a quiet neighborhood, it's clean & bright, the bedrooms are a great size, the kitchen is new, the deck & yard are very private, it's got a great fun basement and... did I mention the 'location'??
