We recently rented this property for a family stay while in town for a wedding. It was perfect for what we needed; plenty of space and privacy for various members of a large group--two sets of parents, adult children and their spouses, and lots of grandkids-- a great yard for family barbecues and get-togethers, and a fun pool to keep the kids entertained. It was beautifully kept with many "extras" to make the stay easier and more enjoyable (paper plates and cups; laundry detergent; cleaning supplies, bottled water, etc.) that may be missing in many rental properties. The owner was supernice and easy to work with and quickly responded to all communication. He was very fair about cleaning costs and had our security deposit on the way back to us before we even asked for it. We all agreed that it was much more comfortable, convenient and relaxing, as well as economical, than a hotel could have even begun to be for a group like ours. The description and photos were accurate except that they UNDERSTATE how luxurious, restful and attractive this property is. It is convenient to both La Jolla itself and to the other attractions of greater San Diego, and was perfectly located for our wedding activities at the San Diego LDS Temple. Again, we can't say enough nice things about this quiet, beautiful property and our fantastic stay there. You won't be disappointed!Recommended for: Families with teenagers, age 55+, families with young children, girls getaway, people with disabilities.
