Spacious wrap-around front Porch-deck and upstairs Balconies off the Master bedroom with panoramic views of Santa Barbara Mountains; Carpinteria Salt Marsh; and Coastline.
Glass front door opens to a Light, Breezy Kitchen and open living and dining area, perfect for Gathering your family or Entertaining your guests. Large, beautiful Windows throughout the house let in plenty of Light in every room; the gorgeous North-African style Sitting room downstairs is surrounded by windows with a screened side Opening off to the porch.
Central staircase leads to two Airy bedrooms under expansive Ceilings, and a full bathroom equipped with Laundry appliances on the Second Landing. Spacious master bedroom upstairs opens to the 2 Balconies and encloses a private bathroom.
The open lawn area and array of plants off the front steps colorfully decorate the house's exterior; step around the back of the house to barbecue on the grill and lunch on the picnic table.

This house is well located for a family vacation close to supermarket, stores, playground, beach and nature walk. Easy drive to Ventura or Santa Barbara for day trips. Short walk into quaint Carpinteria village. Also very close to train station should could arrive by train or use train to get to Santa Barbara. Kitchen is roomy and big dining table is great for all to gather around. The house however needs some upgrading and repair. Closets and drawers where cluttered with mismatched items making it hard to use for our own clothes. Beds need to be more substantial as the singles are on temporary bed frames which roll around the room with no stoppers. Master bed is not comfortable and creaks loudly even when you just roll over. Rooms had too much odd furniture in them making them cluttered. Kitchen had a lot of items that needed sorting or removal as it was hard to match blenders, blades and many other bits of odd paraphernalia together. Kitchen tap runs cold most of the time no matter how long we ran it for, which makes dish washing hard. There was plenty of linen & towels as well as beach towels which was handy. Outside lawn and balcony areas have lots of potential for summer vacation. Also washing machine & dryer with all detergent provide was very useful. Had plenty of soap in bathrooms, toilet paper and papertowel in the kitchen which is a nice touch and saves you having to bring all this. Had a fully stocked DVD collection but DVD did not work. House needs a really good professional clean as it felt like it had had a lot of use but not a lot of cleaning. With some maintenance, bedroom upgrades and cleaning this could be a good vacation home.Recommended for: Families with young children.
