THE LOTUS is a beautiful, fully-furnished private one-bedroom suite ideally located in the heart of Victoria. Tastefully decorated with Oriental antique furniture and art, its unique charm and ambience are sure to impress.
Southwest-facing windows bathe the suite in light, and Persian-style carpets add colour and warmth to the shining fir wood floors. The open kitchen and living room is a perfect design for preparing meals and socializing. When it is time to cook, you will find everything you need in the fully-equipped kitchen. When it is time to relax, enjoy listening to music, or watching the television or a DVD, conveniently hidden away in an antique armoire when not in use.
The Bedroom features a queen-size Tempur-Pedic mattress on a grand wooden bed, with plush down comforter and pillows for the ultimate luxury. Sink into the therapeutic bed for the most restful sleep. A solid wooden desk is in one corner of the bedroom, while a comfy antique bent wood rocking chair for reading is in another.
Let your tensions melt away in the unique Japanese-style deep-soaker bathtub in the suite's private bathroom. Surrounded by cedar, with soft light filtering in, the tub is truly an experience not to be forgotten. Premium locally made natural soap is provided, as are 100% cotton towels and a hair dryer.
THE LOTUS is directly adjacent to a beautiful park, which is home to a protected Gary Oak grove, winding paths, open grassy fields, and countless flower beds. There are also four tennis courts and a children's playground on the far side of the park. Just three minutes walk across the park from The Lotus is a grocery store, shops, restaurants and cafes. The historic Craigdarroch Castle and Government House are both just a short walk away. Downtown and Victoria’s Inner Harbour can be reached in a twenty minute walk, as can Oak Bay Village and popular Gonzales Beach.

I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at The Lotus. The flat had everything that I needed for my short 3 week stay and was cosy and comfortable. It was in a good location and it was very easy to get around.
Recommended for:Age 55+, pet owners, sightseeing, romantic getaway.

I booked 2 weeks in Victoria while my daughter was doing her teaching practicum. As I hate hotels & I've booked vacation rentals before, I searched Victoria's availables & found the Lotus. I've rented globally thru VRBO.com & I have to say, this was one of the most satisfying. Beautiful location, friendly neighbours, restaurants & grocery stores all handy, lovely park adjacent to the house. Quiet with all the appropriate amenities - and very warm & inviting inside. I loved it so much, I rented it for a month for my daughter & her boyfriend to get a break from their chaotic room rental! I'd book there again in a heartbeat, and I'm actually considering a return in May. Convenient to downtown, no more than 20 mins to any major attraction, many great restaurants within 5 minutes driving / 10-15 mins walking (some closer!), free & easily accessible street parking, city bus about 25 - 30 metres from the house, approx. 8 mins driving to a mall with all the necessities, lovely park around the corner, which is ideal if you have a pet you need to walk. PS - Owner is very helpful & friendly. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this rental to my friends!
Recommended for:Age 55+, pet owners, adventure seekers, sightseeing, tourists without a car, romantic getaway.
