THE LOTUS is a beautiful, fully-furnished private one-bedroom suite ideally located in the heart of Victoria. Tastefully decorated with stunning Oriental antique furniture and art, its unique charm and ambience are sure to impress.
Southwest-facing windows bathe the suite in light, and Oriental carpets add colour and warmth to the shining fir wood floors. The open kitchen and living room is a perfect design for preparing meals and socializing. When it is time to cook, you will find everything you need in the fully-equipped kitchen. When it is time to relax, you will love the high quality 27" Sony television and DVD player, conveniently hidden away in an antique armoire when not in use.
The Bedroom features a queen-size Tempur-Pedic mattress on a grand wooden bed, with plush down comforter and pillows for the ultimate luxury. Sink into the therapeutic bed for the most restful sleep. A solid wooden desk is in one corner of the bedroom, while a comfy antique bent wood rocking chair for reading is in another.
Let your tensions melt away in the unique Japanese-style deep-soaker bathtub in the suite's private bathroom. Surrounded by cedar, with soft light filtering in, the tub is truly an experience not to be forgotten. Premium locally made natural soap is provided, as are 100% cotton towels and a hair dryer.
THE LOTUS is directly adjacent to a beautiful park, which is home to a protected Gary Oak grove, winding paths, open grassy fields, and countless flower beds. There are also four tennis courts and a children's playground on the far side of the park. Just three minutes walk across the park from The Lotus is a grocery store, shops, restaurants and cafes. The historic Craigdarroch Castle and Government House are both just a short walk away. Downtown and Victoria’s Inner Harbour can be reached in a twenty minute walk, as can Oak Bay Village and popular Gonzales Beach.
