Charming, cottage style cabin on Rock Creek. This cabin offers a place to escape the hustle of everyday life. Quiet, secluded & peaceful it's the perfect place to sit back and relax. Located on Rock Creek but minutes from an outstanding golf course, shopping, restaurants, marinas, sandy beaches, excellent hiking trails for miles and many other attractions Possum Kingdom has to offer.
Two bedroom, 1 bath cabin sleeps 4 comfortably. Room available in Master Bedroom and Living area for inflatable mattress or cot (not provided) for up to 2 more people. Living area, dining and kitchen are combined for a great place to gather while you prepare your meals. Kitchen is fully equipped with refrigerator, stove/oven, microwave, double sink, coffee pot, toaster, and a variety of cookware and dishware. The living area has an electric fireplace and flat screen TV with satellite and DVD player.
Sitting area with a wall of large windows, holds two club chairs that overlook the creek. This room makes a wonderful area to have your morning coffee.
The master bedroom has a king size bed, large dresser and a sitting area. Bedroom 2 has a queen size bed, small dresser, TV with VCR and a closet area. The cabin shares one bathroom that has a double sink area as well as a claw foot bathtub/shower. All linens are provided for your convenience.
There is enough parking for several cars, 1 covered parking areas as well as parking for a boat/watercraft.
The cabin offers a wrap-around porch with access to a fishing pier, a sitting area right outside the master bedroom and a rock patio great for entertaining. This patio offers a sitting area with umbrella, a table with four chairs that is great for outdoor dining, both a gas grill and a charcoal grill, wood burning chiminea and creek view. This is a great place to gather, relax and unwind after a day on the lake.

Site was clean and well kept with very nice fishing dock and patio area, right on creek leading into lake, secluded, but close to highway, close to fishing areas. A better choice of TV stations (local station, ESPN, FSSW) would be nice for a guys outing. MLB was available. Lake was very low and creek was essentially dry behind house so fishing from the pier was not possible.Recommended for: Families with teenagers.

Just wanted to drop a line or two,to Thank You for letting us stay at this wonderful cabin,the listing and pictures of your cabin are to a tee,it was our first time in the area to stay in a cabin and go trout fishing .The fishing wore us out ,then coming back to the cabin was so relaxing and peaceful not to mention the oh so comfortable beds were so amazing,the property is very well maintained and super clean.The only complaint that we had was there is no lighting on the patio ,a bright light over the grill and a small set of colored lights that can be put up and taken down when needed.We would reommend this property to anyone and everyone of all ages.Thanks Again,and We will be back real soon !!Recommended for: Age 55+, romantic getaway, sightseeing.

This house was very secluded and was a great getaway from the city. My friends and I enjoyed our time at the house and all of the amenities were "as advertised" on the listing. There were even a few things provided that I would not have thought of. The only suggestion I would make to the owner's would be on the satellite channels. We had a guys weekend and were looking forward to watching some football. I realize that you don't rent a lake house like this to sit around and watch TV all day, however during football season it would be a nice to have local channels and ESPN. Overall we had a great time, and I would recommend this house to anyone looking for an affordable weekend away from the hustle-and-bustle of daily life.Recommended for: Adventure seekers, girls getaway, sightseeing.

When our family arrived we had no idea what to expect, the housing and view exceeded our expectations! The peaceful nights and days, away from the 'everyday chaos' was magnificent! The house was a home away from home with all the amenities covered! We really enjoyed our stay, from swimming, fishing, bbq, or star gazing. It was a great bonding time with our family! Thank you and we will be visiting again!Recommended for: Adventure seekers, tourists without a car, romantic getaway, families with teenagers, sightseeing.
