Stay at this executive retreat that is the last house on the paved road in Corolla – it has panoramic views to the east and the north. Climb the 4 story outdoor spiral staircase to see from the sound to the ocean. Or get in shape by swimming laps in the 75 foot lap pool. There are two hot tubs to relax in. Indoor see the wonderful “Life Came from the Sea” spiral glass and steel sculpture in the three story staircase. The kitchen is a cooks kitchen with a big center island, a six burner gas stove with griddle and two ovens, and a subzero refrigerator. The dining room has windows on three sides and seats 10. There is a billiard room and a home theatre that seats 7. Plus there is an office for the executive to do some work while on vacation.

About the owner: I built this custom home in 2003. I an a biotech executive from the San Franciso Bay area that has been coming to the Outer Banks for wonderful vacations for over 30 years. There is no more relaxing place to be. I have had many family members vacation with me over the years.

This house is built on 4 lots at the end of the paved road in Corolla. The ocean is the the east, the NC estuarine reserve is to the North and there are no houses directly west. It is a private enclave in a nice community - Villages at Ocean Hill.
