Located in Solana Beach in a quiet neighborhood, it is walking distance to the beach, lagoon and all sorts of restaurants, Cedros Design District and more.
The San Diego County Fair is running throughout June to July 4th, and the Del Mar Race Track is in season from July 18 until early September. A short walk to the train station gets you a free shuttle without having to hassle with (or pay for) parking. Or hop on the bike for a short ride down the coastal rail trail.
Solana Beach is a town consisting of 2 square miles and has all the amenities of any large town, but the ability to ride your bike or walk anywhere. Gourmet markets, chain grocery stores and a farmers market every Sunday. Cardiff, Encinitas and Carlsbad are to the north and Del Mar, La Jolla and downtown San Diego are to the south. The train station to catch Amtrak or the Coaster is walking distance from the house.
In just minutes you can go to the movies, Rancho Santa Fe, Downtown San Diego Gas lamp district, PetCo Park, Torrey Pines, Sea World, Outlet malls, The Wave Water Park, LEGOLAND, Wild Animal Park, Zoo, Balboa Park, Park with hiking trails, horseback riding and world class surfing! La Jolla is fifteen minutes away and includes Birch Aquarium, Scuba, Kayaking, Caves, Cove, Restaurants and beaches, Torrey Pines golf course.
Disneyland, Knox Berry Farms, and Santa Ana Airport are about 1 hour away. Los Angeles is about 1 1/2 hours away.

Great location within walking distance to beach. We had an awesome time relaxing and enjoying the pool and hot tub in beautiful backyard oasis. Plenty of room sleeps 10 comfortably. Would definitely come back again. Highly recommend to anyone looking for a quiet and relaxing vacation rental.Recommended for: Families with teenagers, age 55+, families with young children.

My wife, two kids(12 years old) and a dog visited Solana Beach and stayed in this home the first week of June. The Interior is all freshly renovated. The covered pool is warm and safe under the cover. The walk to Tide park beach is short. It was a great place to stay, and I hope to book another trip next year.Recommended for: Families with teenagers, pet owners, families with young children.

Perfect location near downtown Solana Beach. The beauty of the place; however, is the serenity. Surrounded by tropical foliage (palms, bamboo, etc..) this place was our private oasis. Great pool and hot tub kept the kids busy while my wife and I had a chance to relax in pure Solana solitude! The house was tastefully remodeled recently and is a great spot for noe or two families to enjoy a beach retreat. The quick walk to the beach was easy and options to stop and eat were plentiful. We will definitely stay here again.Recommended for: Families with teenagers, age 55+, families with young children, girls getaway, tourists without a car.
